The law finally caught up with an alleged gang member who police say held down his 7-year-old son while a fellow gang-banger tattooed the boy's belly with the group's insignia.
Police say 26-year-old Enrique Gonzales held down his 7-year-old son while another gang member tattoed the group's insignia on his belly.
Fresno cops arrested Enrique Gonzalez, 26, at hotel in the Sierra foothills and booked him for investigation of mayhem, child abuse, false imprisonment, battery, participating in a criminal street gang and committing a crime for the benefit of a gang, Police Chief Jerry Dyer said. Gonzales, a member of Fresno's largest street gang, the Bulldogs, held down his son while another gang member painfully marked the boy's belly with the group's insignia -- a paw print, police said. The boy's mother reported the incident in April, police said. When police searched the hotel room where they arrested Gonzales, they found a picture of him and the boy, along with another child who also had gang graffiti on their bodies, the Fresno Bee reported.
The alleged tattooer, 20-year-old Travis Gorman, was arrested not long after the incident and charged with six felonies. He pleaded not guilty last month and is being held under a $700,000 bond.
Family members told police the boy is traumatized by the incident.
After all the beatings, stranglings, knifings, and shootings, a tattooing sounds positively tame.
Rabid trash. Hope Popi is berthed with Bubba !
Isn’t diversity grand?
Just d@mn.....
“Popi”???? That mean “Dad”?
Those adults (?) must really feel tough when they can “torture” their own 7 year old children. How very sick. If they want to feel tough they should join the Seals or the Rangers. Where “real men” are.
Yep.....que popi aka.... whose yer daddy.
Why isn’t the larger gang being RICO’d?
Though it’s right to be repulsed by such behavior, which I consider a tragedy, this should make it clear that these people need deliverance.
No, not government, welfare or social program deliverance, but instead... They need to be be delivered by the transforming power of the Love of Christ. That’s the Church’s job, not the government’s.
Don’t think for a minute that the law should not apply here... This father should be prosecuted and his son put in protective custody, in my opinion.
But if you want to get the root of the problem, really, then the cycle of broken homes and godless and hopeless families must be stopped.
Though the workers are few, the work must be done by individuals, voluntarily, loving the unlovable, being the hands and feet of Christ.
I’m horrible at it myself. That is, I’m stuck in my comfort zone, too... But my heart hurts for this child who has little hope and little chance to grow up “normal”.
And you know the dad’s lost and wretched. And he must endure the consequences of his actions. But I’d like to think that at some point, Christ will reach him through a brave and loving disciple.
Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me. MATTHEW 25:40
Yup, just as I suspected: a mexican.
If the 20 year old tattoe’r were to die in a gun battle with other gangsters, the Brady Bunch and the MSM would refer to him as another child killed by guns.
Yeah, and they'd be washed out within an hour.
You really want someone like that in the SEALs?
I think the hope is to get some SEAL into someone like that.
(More likely he’d quit, then brag to his cholo homeboys about his espaycial opes trayning.)
Yep. We should be accepting of all cultures and not condemn this father for passing on his heritage.
We need to be celebrating Unity. One Nation, one flag, one culture, the language of which is English.
Adapt to it or leave. Diversity will be the death of America.
