Obama Shocks the Elites
Pajamas Media ^ | May 14 | Tom Blumer

It would be funny if the stakes — the future direction of this country for many years to come — weren’t so high.

It’s still hard not to feel just a bit of schadenfreude watching many of Barack Obama’s supporters, particularly those who are among the well-positioned or financially well-off, fidget, whine, and moan as they discover what those of us who actually researched and studied the guy before the election knew about him.

Slowly but surely it is dawning on many of these elites that Obama is exactly what he was in rare unguarded moments during his presidential campaign, during his brief U.S. Senate career as its most liberal member, during his time as an Illinois senator, and, to the extent we were able or allowed to learn it, during his life up to that point: a far-left, class-warfare, redistributionist demagogue. They are also learning that he is bound and determined to impose a radical agenda on the rest of the country and that he has little interest in making exceptions for those who thought they were buying protection or favors with their campaign dollars....

What? Shocked that he’s a FASCIST?

Or shocked that he isn’t carefully keeping it under wraps like they do?

Schadenfreude? I hope they lose their homes, fortunes - all their material possessions. I have NO respect for those Obama supporters I know who had more than I to lose at the hands of the Marxist they helped elect.

I know some too, and I feel the same way. I'll never feel anything but contempt for those who voted for that pious rodent.

Among the high level elites there are no regrets. These people are insulated from the taxes and troubles. They have accountants and lawyers that keep them out of the tax traps. They have incomes that our flexible..like govt employees..that allow them to get big raises for nothing..and bigger retirements via tricks.
Sooner or later the people will wake up to the fact that the Rats are the party of the rich and currupt.

Ditto! Obama made 509 campaign promises. His supporters elected him to loot the treasury on their behalf. They are expecting those skittle crapping unicorns anytime now.

“he has little interest in making exceptions for those who thought they were buying protection or favors with their campaign dollars”

He is doing a lot for the UAW and the SEIU and unions in general.

In my opinion, that's EXACTLY what got him elected.

I feel as sorry for the well-to-do supporters of Zero as I do the rich suckers who were ripped off by the scum Bernard Madoff.

Both groups would have been perfectly happy improving their lot, utilizing connections and privileged information, at the expense of others, not part of the insiders club.

In my opinion it ain’t even a matter of opinion, it is a fact as obvious as the sunrise. Those who say differently are as willfully blind as someone who says fire won’t burn him. If he looked like Anderson Cooper he would be totally unknown.

I wish Obama were incompetent! Unfortunately for us, Obama seems to be doing a very effective job of derailing the free markets and dramatically increasing the number of government jobs that will never go away. The dependent class — those in prison, illegal aliens, people on welfare, the retired, and those who get the new, pointless government jobs — will increase in number, while the producers and government people who have difficult, essential jobs — military, police, etc — shrink in number. (And no, I am not equating retirees with people in prison! My point is that the number of workers who support both groups — and others — will decline as middle class people find it impossible to have more than one child and still be able to pay their taxes.)

We're in big trouble, folks, and the only thing I'm clinging to is the belief that Obama is SO radical that even middle class liberals, upper middle class liberals, and some rich liberals realize that what Obama is trying to do to the economy will screw them over, too.

Wait until all those die-hard gays who are trying to get gays out in the open with same-sex marriage, while at the same time promoting Islam in the US find out what Islam thinks of their sexual persuasion.

Once the closet Muslim Obama allows Islamic practices virtually unrestricted in this country, the die-hards gays will be serendipitiously and violently eliminated.
