Boy,I found that out the hard way in Rome (several hundred US dollars were in my wallet).Also,a story that would be funny if it wasn't so disgusting......

Years ago I worked in a major Boston hospital.One of the staff nurses in the unit where I worked had previously been the night shift nursing supervisor for the hospital's medical wards.She told me a story of how one night,while she was walking down a hallway,she watched a group of gypsies...who had been "keeping vigil" for one of their hospitalized members (they do that)...carting off a brand new...and very expensive...EKG machine.She said that,as far as she knows,they were never caught.
