Early Christians had a thing about Christians families, reproducing and filling the churches and the earth. Western Liberals had a thing about cleansing that Christian cluture with feminism, sexual immorality, abortion, birth control and the destruction of the family.

Mulisms did not have liberals to cleanse their culture. They kept with their tradition. Who was right? Who won? Liberals don’t care if Christian Europeans disappear from the earth and Muslims take over the future. Like John Lennon, liberals imagined and they live for today.

So my husband and I adopted 2 daughters since we could not have children, but each of the girls (both teen-agers now) want to be stay-at-home home-school moms and have 6 children. I say the more the merrier! Oh, and they are both excellent shots!!

“Do you know if that is for each individual, or is it for couples?”

Either one, depends on how you want to look at it—the math is the same either way.

It’s a common estimate of the number of kids the average adult in a population needs to have in order to keep the total population numbers constant. It takes 2 to have a kid, so if the average adult had 2 kids, then the next generation will have the same number of adults, and so on. The fraction that makes the number over 2 is there to take into account children who do not make it to adult age due to sickness, accidents, war, etc.

I’ve been posting about this demographic problem for years.

And for years before posting, I studied all the possible underlying reasons for the problem.

The root problem is a mix of socialism in capitalist countries and poor social defense.

In the former USSR, there was not a particularly high birth rate but there was an enormous social defense at borders and in their interior.

In capitalist countries a growth of socialism is accompanied by a growth in taxation. Excessive taxation on producers is the surest means to ramp down the birth rate.

This is why I support the FairTax so fiercely. Because removing the graduated income tax and all the socialism that it generates will be a huge leap in recovering the demographic balance.

Imagine for a moment that you are analyzing data taken from interviews with women who chose to have an abortion (I have done so). In most every case where the women was an adult, the abortion was chosen because of underlying economics.

And yet we as Americans say we live in the most advanced and richest civilization in history.

No doubt our technology is to marvel at, and our infrastructure is highly advanced.

But when it comes to bringing children into the world, our American women often say they are not ready and the fact is many of them will never be ‘ready’. And the expression of ‘not ready’ means not economically ready.

Now it may all be in the mind about not being economically ready and indeed much of it is. We are conditioned to take our economic surroundings for granted. The costs of things to us is hardly every examined. If we see a sandwich for $7, we may think it is worth it if the ambient environment is pleasant. The same sandwich in a Taqueria costing $3 will be rejected because the surroundings are not up to standard.

So we are accustomed to pricing including certain standards and yet many of our young women cannot see themselves prospering especially if they are expected to bring children into the world. They are ‘not ready’ and may never be.

So it goes that many women who harbor desire for children will look for a male provider who can provide the economic base and standard by which the feeling of ‘ready’ may emerge. But that model of living was gone long ago. Now both parents will likely have to work and this results in many more problems such as putting off child bearing,

And the conditioning we have for certain standards leads us to seek ways to gain economically so that we can be ‘ready’. We attend college, then grad school or professional pursuits in law, medicine and such. We keep putting ‘ready’ off into the future.

And who precisely are ‘we’? We are those that feel we must be responsible for ourselves and our families. We do not take government assistance, we do not accept a lesser standard of existence, we are smart and ambitious.

But we are often ‘not ready’.

And the whole government system that we live under looks at us like horses pulling the wagon and its passengers. They tax us whatever we can bear, and what we can’t tolerate is hidden from us or blurred or knotted.

Our tax system has entered every facet of our lives. It is everywhere now. I remember a time not so long ago when saving accounts and checking accounts were not taxed. I remember my youth when my mother stayed home and had time to be a den mother for other boys in the area, to be a volunteer at school, to ensure our house was kept to ‘the standard’.

Some of those social memories are echo’d here today, but not taxation. It has grown like a metastatic cancer eating out lives to prepare for more growth its reach and its entitlements.

And I have screamed for years over the age-demographics, its association with entitlements and the coming collapse of our way of life.

All of it due to excessive taxation and its offspring socialism, and a lack of social defense including abortion on demand.

America could easily and comfortably grow to 500 million people. And if we had now the 70 million people here that are not here because of abortion, we would have no demographic problem. We would not have a vacuum that immigration is filling.

Why did our politicians try so hard to legalize 20 million aliens when more than 80% of us were against it? Because they know we cannot maintain their way of life without more people to tax. But they also know the people they are proposing to bring in to fill the vacuum are not necessarily the productive people needed to continue the great American Civilization.

But first things first.

We CAN recover.

Reform taxation and seal our borders.

And for tax reform start at the link below. Study it well. Let no one sway you until you studied it for two hours every night for a month at least. Study the history of American taxation, study how we got here today because of it.

Start here:

And to see who the opposition is and how devious they are, read through this thread of flames I have been involved in for the past two days:

Well, our feminazis should be very happy with the eventual result of their push for non-domestic, childless women, especially when they’re finally subjected to Muslim codes for females. Happy, indeed.

Demographics, definitely a big issue with important effects on the future.

There are many other important trends as well, though, and new trends that will be born. Increasing impact of Western ideas (including liberal ideals) on currently-solidly-Muslim cultures. Spread of ideas and culture through the internet, cell phones, etc. Developments (possibly world-changing ones) in AI, nanotechnology and genetics. Possible wars, plagues (like influenza) and political events. What happens if Muslims attack Israel and suffer a completely humiliating nuclear defeat?

Yes, this is an important issue, but there’s a lot about the future that’s difficult or impossible to predict. Look at predictions in the 1950s about the year 2000. I’m still waiting for the flying car... but NOBODY predicted the internet. So yeah, it’s an important issue, but too early to panic or get depressed over it. :-)

I believe they said the same thing about the Irish when they came to the US in the late 1800s and early 1900’s. The missing point is that many of the offspring who are born in Europe are as likely to become European as they are to remain Arabs. How many Japanese descendants in the US in their 20’s and 30’s retain any Japanese culture? Very few, if any. You can’t predict what the world will look like based on today’s demographics.

That was a clueless post.

There is no sense in comparing Irish immigrants to America with primitive koranimals hell-bent on world domination.

It’s not even apples and oranges. It’s wholesome apples and poisoned turds.

You have obviously never read the Koran or seriously observed these people.

I agree, Irish were basically Christians, this is a whole other ball game, you should be worried about this, believe me. I just watched it at home with my family with my three children and talked to them about it. Told them not to be afraid or to hate Muslims, to grow up, get married, and don’t be like the poeople I work with a still be single at 40 and drinking and dating and wasting their lives (sorry if I offend with that statement if that describes you)
