Vali Reza Nasr, a senior Obama administration advisor on Iran, has come to Iran.
Iranian parliament speaker Ali Larijani and former parliament speaker Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel may be behind the visit.
"President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was informed well after Nasr entered the country," Tabnak reported on Wednesday.
Nasr was appointed senior advisor to Richard Holbrooke -- the special US envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Tabnak and Fararu claim the unannounced trip by the US official to be linked to the recent release of Iranian-American journalist Roxana Saberi.

Nasr is also an expert on Af-Pak issues and Iraq. Lots of future cooperative issues at play, major changes coming in our relationship with Iran.
Obama likes the taste of Mullah feet.
Do we trade in our cars for camels today of next week?
No camel for me I want a good horse.
Bush's doctrine of ending the catastrophic and immoral status quo of western appeasement of dictators and islamist terrorists in return for stability was THE REAL AUDACITY OF HOPE for both the people of ME and the rest of the world. George Bush was the real revolutionary, the REAL Messiah of hope and change for millions of people and all leftist ever did was worked overdrive to undermine and defeat it.
Damn the leftists for their mendacity and forever solidarity with the enemy.
If you consider sucking up to a dictatorship to be “cooperation,” fine. Also, he’s probably essentially going to turn Iraq over to Iran, and everybody knows that Iran is also involved in Afghanistan, so it will probably be next.
Bambi loves the mullahs’ Iran because Ahmadinejad is Hugo Chavez’ best buddy, and he sees a Muslim/Marxist threesome in the future: Iran, VZ, and the US. Sort of the updated Axis powers. I never thought we’d be one of them. Sickening.

The speaker of Iran's parliament, the Majlis, has said "massacre" of the people in Libya and Bahrain were taking place on the orders of the US. Ali Larijani, addressing the Majlis open session Sunday, said US officials should be made to pay for their crimes against Muslims.
