I read where Richard Clarke found it "disturbing" that "imagery and the memory of 9/11" were used in an advertisement about why the detention facilities at Guantanamo Bay should be kept open. Those 26 House Republicans stated what they believe, that keeping terrorists out of the U.S. is good policy; they were not personally profiting from 9/11.
When Richard Clarke testified before the 9/11 Commission, John Lehman stated that Clarke had previously told one thing to Commissioners in private and something different during his public testimony. Clarke repeatedly mentioned September 11 in his two books and his publisher reportedly rushed his first book to print so it would coincide with his testimony. Mr. Clarke currently works for "the left-leaning National Security Network." You be the judge.

Ping!
When a man speaks out of both sides of his mouth, you can’t trust anything he says. He is unstable.
When I see/hear that name, the resulting mental imagery is like a short nightmare. It's an assault, not unlike that of Valerie Plame's main squeeze.
Who could trust a guy who borrows suits from The Joker?
From the mouth of one of the biggest 9-11 profiteers. He is an obscure pencil pusher who has enriched himself in the aftermath of the attacks. Not even the leftists got too close to him...he is a piece of crap, coming out the rear end of a dung beetle...crap’s crap.
“He’s just Dung bettle crap, you shouldn’t outta talk to him like that”
Slingblade
While at the State Department Clarke was fired by George H.W. Bush’s Secretary of State James Baker only to be rehired at the NSC at the behest of Scowcroft. Baker was right, and as usual the ubiquitous Scowcroft was wrong.
“If we invade Afghanistan, wily old Osama will likely boogie to Baghdad.” - Richard Clarke
Clarke is the terrorist czar who pushed approval for USS COLE to visit Aden despite the country’s US Ambassador that the threat was too high for a fuel stopover.
Clinton, Clarke, Zinni — blood on their hands...
If memory serves correctly, GEN Zinni testified before Congress that 1) it was the safest of the ports available in that area (”least bad option”) and 2) the fuel stopover was necessary because 13 or the Navy’s 14 deep-sea refueling vessels had been mothballed. Guess under which administration the latter occurred and left our Navy only bad options?
Amen! “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” (James 1:8)
I remember an old Prof telling me,(after I had asked about a choice men must make)”just remember son, men are creatues of extreme.”
Now that was back in 1963 !!!!!!
To me, the most disturbing thing:
Is what the the Demo Rats did not say (when all their candidates ran for president in 2003) while on the national TV Democrat debates.
Not one even mentioned 9/11 as if it had never happened!
That should be continually reviewed for the public
“lest we forget.”
Hello, Tim.
Hi HC
Not only unstable, but an ass.
It’s pathetic that this career-long pencil pusher nobody managed to amass fame (notoriety) and fortune based on his hypocrisy and the hunger on the left for a Bush White House “insider” to say what they wanted to hear. His soul is eternally damned.
