If this is true, it would be a terribly disturbing direction that things are moving...

As an American who happens to be Jewish, my first loyalty is to the USA. However, I believe that it’s in the best interest of the US to work with Israel, as opposed to the arab countries, and certainly NEVER with fatah, hamas, or hisbolla. The last two are, for all intents and purposes, in a defacto state of war with the US. And of course, there was the fatah ordered murder of an American diplomat, while Arafat was still their leader.

Absolutely astounding; America has stabbed in the back its best, and only reliable, ally in the Middle East. What’s next - helping Iran with its nuclear weapons program???

The nature of life under the Obama administration just grows darker and darker, and the shadow is spreading around the world. Is it me, or does this drift of affairs resemble somewhat the events portrayed in the Tolkien books?

I’m not sure what to make of this.

It does not say that Obama has leaked Israeli secrets to Lebanon, leading to the arrest of people spying for Israel.

What it says is that we have been giving Lebanon money for some time to beef up their security and military—presumably in hopes of keeping Lebanon out of the hands of Syria and Hezbollah. So, as the article says, this started under Bush. And apparently it was not a leak or a betrayal, but Lebanese intelligence that made the arrests.

Lebanon is a very difficult case. I’d say that it’s probably a good idea to try to help them stay free of Syrian/Iranian control. But of course it’s also dangerous. yet it’s in Israel’s interest as well as ours to try to maintain an independent Lebanon, as far as that’s possible.

I’m not saying that this article is wrong, but possibily it’s misleading.

The Obama Administration continues working with terrorists against the West,
against Americans, against American allies, as their "Hussein in the White House"
brings America to its knees in the Caliphate as its 58th state.

the actual quote:
"Israel has expressed reservations about American aid to the Lebanese army and security services, saying those organizations will ultimately be unable to contend with Hezbollah and that any aid is liable to serve Hezbollah's interests."

“Is U.S. Aid Indirectly Benefitting Hizballah?”
by IPT News

SNIPPET: “U.S aid to Lebanon is said to be up for review following next month’s Lebanese elections. If there’s any chance it is being used to benefit Hizballah, even indirectly, that support must be severed.”
