There is absolutely no doubt where this Administration stands.

Treaties cannot and do not trump Constitutional protections.
If they try....

I believe this is the one that forces registration of all reloaders and reloading equipment, among it’s other NAZI like provisions.

Treaties also take a 2/3 majority to pass.

“Treaties also take a 2/3 majority to pass.”

This might be the trigger that gets people off their duff about gun control. Many people I talk too still buy that “common sense” nonsense.

I believe you will find that Article VI of the Constitution makes treaties the supreme law of the land, along with the Constitution and federal statutes, and sets them above all State laws and constitutions and judges.

This is how they intend to implement gun control in the US, with having the full Congress vote on it. I’ve been saying this for weeks.

The 2/3 majority is meaningless. A total nuclear test ban treaty was signed by Clinton, but failed to get ratified by the Senate. Madeleine Halfbright said that the U.S. is bound by the treaty anyway.

Of course, moot point, since the Nevada Test Site is fractured to the point that there are no more locations for underground tests. The supercomputer models had better be working - however Zero is likely to nix those as well.

Article II Section 2: "He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur;"

Don't be surprised if a enough Dem Senators to make a quorum show up at 3 am and pass some treaties.

I only wish the 2A was protected as often or as vigerous as the 1A.

” Don’t be surprised if a enough Dem Senators to make a quorum show up at 3 am and pass some treaties. “

They have the 2/3rds without any RINO votes. Thankfully there are some democrat senators (vs socialist) that probably would not vote for this.

A 1957 USSC decision could not have been clearer in saying that provisions of treaties that violate the Constitution are themselves unconstitutional. Granted, the Kenyan doesn’t give a kwap about that, but — for now, at least — constitutional law is still on the side of US gun owners, and directly opposed to attempts to trim/violate the 2nd Amendment via provisions of one or another ‘’treaty’’.

Those “present” Senators, in the middle of the night, might get a visit from “Henry Bowman”.

Remember this, because if this happens, you better have all your ducks in a row. I can assure you this will begin cwII. Not a doubt in my mind. Get out, or get ready to defend your property, life and the life of your families. The boiling point has almost been reached already. I don’t think millions of Americans are going to tolerate much more of this. Don’t think for a minute that there is no ammo because people are afraid of new gun laws. That’s MSM BS lies. Go to gun shows, talk to the owners of gun shops. People are buying because they think they may need to use it to defend themselves.

Oh, the first amendment is well and truly under attack as well: witness arrests at abortion clinics with people merely affirming to police officers that they were against abortion (while standing otherwise silently on a public sidewalk; I'm a firsthand witness) and things such as the Fairness Doctrine initiatives.

But as for this treaty -- better get lawyered up (again): there would be no point in even trying to pass such a piece of filth unless the Kenyan-in-chief intended to try and impose its provisions on the portion of America that didn't support him in the first place... it's about power and revenge... the very things that gave us a 2nd amendment in the first place.

Time to start burning up the InBoxes of the elected elitists in DC. They need to clearly understand that this piece of tripe must NOT be ratified.

It can't be that easy. Our forefathers went to great lengths to protect its citizens rights from the federal government. The whole purpose of gun rights is to prevent this very sort of thing from happening. I don't think the founders would go along with it then and the American people shouldn't now either.

Oh, I agree the 1A is also under attack. The whole constitution is under attack by our current cadre of socialists. I still stand by my statement that the 1A has seen more defense that the 2A.
