Coverage on Discovery’s Science Channel in HD (I think), 1230-1330 CDT.
Or NASA TV, of course.

Overshadowed by this Hubble mission by highly important will be the launch Thursday of two major European telescopes—Herschel and Planck.
The three telescopes will compliment each other, and all seem to be of equal revolutionary potential. Three new telescopes with multi-tasked instruments will extend our view and knowledge of the universe to an unprecendented level.

Damn I’m going to miss it. I hate it when it goes up during the work-week.

Just hoping it doesn’t turn out to be the last American manned spaceflight in our lifetime.
The shuttle program needs to end but not while a “progressive” holds office.

They’ve decided to give NASA’s budget to ACORN for “voter outreach”.
