It’s time for Obama to start 'acting presidential' (Letter-to-editor smackdown!)

Isn’t it about time President Barack Obama got off the campaign trail, stopped trying to act like a rock star while globe-trotting and started acting presidential? So far, he has shown himself to be the epitome of inexperience.

It seems every time he has a news conference, the stock market falls. Again. Do you think if they took away his teleprompter he would be speechless? It’s time for him to stop talking and start showing us some action. He’s been in office for three months and, so far, in addition to a shameful number of his Cabinet appointees being tax evaders, the economy has continued on its way toward the bottom. Real estate is a mess and the banks, which obtained millions of our hard-earned tax dollars, are reportedly not loaning very much money. General Motors is looking for more bailout money.

Is this the “change” Obama was talking about during his campaign? If so, we can’t afford it. Or does he mean the change is being anti-Christian, anti-veteran, anti-rich, anti-gun, anti-senior citizens, anti-Constitution and, most importantly, anti-American? (He continues to apologize for America to the world and blame us for all its problems.)

He’s beginning to sound like Rev. Jeremiah Wright. He cannot continue to play the blame game. The previous administrations are gone. It’s his ballgame now. So far, he has tripled the national debt. It’s all on his shoulders now.

I hope they are broad enough.

He’s still campaigning, it’s all he knows how to do.... “Can I get some Grey Poupon on that burger, no ketchup?” Does John Kerry know that B. Hussein does not use Heinz ketchup?

He knows how to campaign and he knows how to community organize. He is still doing both (and I would prefer simply campaigning to community organizing.)

I wonder when Obama ever stays in the office and works. Seems all he does is fly around the country and the world giving little speeches and glad-handing our enemies. I’d be interested also if he is continuing Dubya’s practice of meeting with CIA, FBI and NSC daily, first thing in the morning to be briefed on national security.

Don't expect anything from obama. He is nothing but the dupe of the DNC and their easily led constituents.

It is unforgivable that the Liberals in this country have made use of the WOT and recent financial setbacks to force their Utopian daydream on this country. With the help of the MSM, a voter base gorged on government gimme’s and a candidate who is nothing if not a political petri dish... they have succeeded in one tidal wave of emotional hype, to do in a single election what they have not been able to accomplish for decades with more experienced and credible candidates!

As the 21st century began, human evolution was at a turning point. Natural selection, the process by which the strongest, the smartest, the fastest, reproduced in greater numbers than the rest, a process which had once favored the noblest traits of man, now began to favor different traits. Most science fiction of the day predicted a future that was more civilized and more intelligent. But as time went on, things seemed to be heading in the opposite direction. A dumbing down. How did this happen? Evolution does not necessarily reward intelligence. With no natural predators to thin the herd, it began to simply reward those who reproduced the most, and left the intelligent to become an endangered species.

From the movie ‘Idiocracy’ Life imitates art?

Just past 100 days and he seems to be a complete failure on all fronts:

The economy is still sliding downward (except that the pro-Obama MSM say otherwise).
Afghanistan and Pakistan have become nighmares thanks to his policies.
North Korea, Iran are getting bolder and more aggressive. even the Europeans are sceptical of him.

Definitely a one-term president.

Someone dumped the chlorine in the wrong gene pool. Or it could be like the sun spots and we are on the down swing and they are on the up swing. I hope they don’t last too long. They could use a good dose of “Hey you hold my beer and watch this.

Definitely a one-term president.

Not if he deliberately allows a terrorist attack (or several) in 2012 and then conveniently suspends elections indefinitely.

For "the good of the country", of course.

We’ve been telling them for decades their ain’t no utopia. Guess they need to find out the hard way!
Someday, I’ll get to say, “Told you so!”

Well, we know that he turns issues over to Congressional committees and then expects to just sign the law when it reaches his desk. Genius delegator or stupid pen pusher? Hmmmmm....

“Definitely a one-term president”

The Obama administration is completely media/public opinion driven. It will be like this until the next national election OR until the RNC recovers... which ever happens first.

In the meantime, do not expect Obama to go one inch out of his way to assert himself as a autonomous political entity. He has NOTHING to gain by venturing on any enterprise in which he could fail. Obama is a political cypher and not even a crisis (like 9/11, which introduced us to the REAL George Bush) will show us who he is. Obama is truly Mr. Nobody from Nowhere. His supporters, the MSM and I think, even history will like it that way.

Until or unless the RNC recovers, Obama will win an second term and in the same way he ‘won’ the first one.

“Genius delegator or stupid pen pusher”

Neither. Just a spineless, gutless, empty-headed manipulator used to getting where and what he wants by ‘looking’ the part! In the end, his fingerprints will be on NOTHING and the entire country (not just Conservatives) will experience the feeling of being HAD!

“I wanna be around.....”

He really does nothing because he just reads speeches that other people write. He then hops on his plane and goes where ever he goes and reads another speech. Never has to answer a question or do diddly squat. He just has to look good and sound good.

Is it just me or have all the dictators in the world vowed to ramp up their nuclear weapons the minute BO was sworn in. If this had happened on Bush’s watch, the press would be hammering away. Also, what about all the American soldiers that have been killed since Bush left. Seems to me that no one is afraid of our metrosexual president.
