PITTSBURGH (AP) - Authorities in western Pennsylvania have accused seven people who worked for the community group ACORN of falsifying voter-registration forms.
The seven have been charged with either forging, illegally soliciting or illegally filling out voter-registration cards in the lead-up to the 2008 election.
Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen Zappala Jr. announced the charges at a news conference Thursday.

But the president of ACORN said on the Glenn Beck Show that ACORN is pure as the driven snow. These must be trumped up charges by the evil right wing nuts.

The MSM will never cover this beyond a token mention. It’s a non-story to them.
Everyone needs to watch Glenn Beck tonight on FOX at 5:00pm est. He is going to have some ACORN members who quit because of the crimes ACORN was committing.

Acorn seeded enough bogus voters to steal the last election. If you plant fake votes in heavily blue areas you do nothing to disrupt the local election but the national tally is way off for the left.

Actually, our local media have been pretty good about covering the story. Philadelphia, which makes the fraud in Pittsburgh look penny-ante by comparison, is an entirely different story. I suspect they will eventually give a nice show trial in Pittsburgh, hand out some slaps on the wrist, and declare the problem solved.

I heard it on KDKA noon talk show yesterday as I was driving through the region. The talk show host was really pounding on it. I don’t remember his name, but was doing a good conservative bit.

I don’t think ACORN’s fraudulent activities overly affected elections. If anything, these just made the race close enough to get a recount.
The foot-soldiers make fraudulent forms to ^get paid^.
I am going to contact my state senator here in PA and see if there is any way that, as a state, we can ban ACORN from participating in the PA part of the Census
