Raleigh, N.C. The U.S. Department of Justice said Thursday a local mother's claim that her son is being held under the USA Patriot Act is incorrect.

Habeas Corpus doesn’t work?
If he was, would they admit it publicly? I thought one of the conditions of a “National Security Letter” is that you don’t disclose its existence to others, e.g. the public.
I agree, but I still suspect we will hear more about this kid.
Like maybe he has a history of threats?
At first the mother said they were at church. Wouldn’t that be REALLY easy to prove?
The US Attorney for the Northern District of Indiana (where he’s been charged) issued a release claiming that the defendant has had an initial appearance and preliminary hearing (at which the defendant was represented by counsel)and has a status hearing pending.
I thought her story sounded fishy when it first turned up a few days ago. Among other things, it’s a little hard to take her seriously when she says things like “I was terrified. There were guns, and I don’t allow guns around my children. I don’t believe in guns.” Something tells her son isn’t quite the angel she imagines him to be.
This kid was taken from his juridiction to one far distant on little more than a search warrant affidavit.
Name other cases where this happens.
Best regards to all,
"The boys mother, Annette Lundeby, has even acknowledged in interviews that her son has been formally charged, has a court-appointed attorney, and has already made appearances in front of a judge. No military tribunals here. On Alex Jones, Lundeby seemed to more-or-less admit that the USA PATRIOT connection was something she dreamed up on her own."
HOW DARE YOU LET FACTS GET IN THE WAY OF THE TRUTH!!!!!
;)
Wow!
Maybe the whole thing was set up to divert attention from what’s really happening in government.
