I am Savage
World Net Daily ^ | 5/6/09 | Joyce Kaufman

Posted on 05/07/2009 6:50:28 AM PDT by ReformationFan

I consider myself a reasonable person. I do not subscribe to any of the many conspiracy theories designed to strike fear in the hearts of patriotic Americans. I have studied world history and American history and am a paid political commentator with my own daily talk radio program. And the news this week that my colleague Dr. Michael Savage has been banned from Great Britain sent a shudder down my spine.

While Michael joins the likes of the Honorable Geert Wilders, Dutch parliamentarian, he is also on the list with racists, murderers and radical Islamic terrorists. Oh, excuse me, "man caused disasters" of the Islamic variety. How did we get to this point? How did two great Western civilizations, the U.K. and the U.S., find themselves challenging John Locke's ideals and the U.S. Constitution?

On May 5, 2009, United Kingdom Home Secretary Jacqui Smith released a list that includes a ban on conservative American talk host Michael Savage entering her country. Today, May 7, 2009, at 10 a.m., thanks to the Federal Advisory Committee Act, an Advisory Committee on Diversity for Communications in the Digital Age will convene to begin to dismantle conservative talk radio. Its sole purpose is to control programming content, a backdoor fairness doctrine. So, May 2009 will go down in history as the month free speech died. Unless we take a stand.

How can I too get banned by the limp-wristed, purse-swinging, bet-wetting Britarabians?

If the UK is banning one or all Savages I expect our country to ban one and all Mexicans.

To me a choice for this country needs to make is this...

Would we (American people) prefer to choose to hear Limbaugh, Hannity, Savage, Beck, Levin and our local talk show hosts around the country, regardless of their position on issues...

Or would the government prefer to hear the people after the static hits the airwaces???

I’m thinking what the people would do when they hear static is much more hazardous to those who would like to shut us up...Than what is on the air right now...

I hope Savage and other defenders of free speech call for boycotts of travel and all products/services out of UK.

Screw these bastards

I support Savage’s right to free speech.

And for Britain to ban Savage but allow all the Jihadist nonsense spouted over there is doubly offensive and ridiculous.

However, I don’t like Savage’s style and don’t listen to him.

And that’s the way to handle it.

Savage is Jewish, and the leftist Brits are famous for their anti-Semitism. They kept thousands of Jews from fleeing Europe before Hitler and the national Socialists slaughtered them. The Brits favored the Arabs over the Jews in Israel. The leftist Brits just feel comfortable in their Socialist anti-Semitism.

On May 5, 2009, United Kingdom Home Secretary Jacqui Smith released a list that includes a ban on conservative American talk host Michael Savage entering her country.

Wow Joyce, stop for a moment there.
Britain is not Jacqui Smiths country, she is a public servant who is employed way above her intellectual grade, who`s family has recently been proven to being abusive to her priveledged position, and will be unemployed in the near future following the general election whether her fellow comrades in the fascist party keep faith with her, or not.

I`m gonna keep repeating this, just so no one misses me saying it.

Jacqui Smith does not speak for tge people of Britain, you`ll see this represented soon after the looming elections.

I liked what one of his callers said yesterday. ‘Dr. Savage my family was kicked out of England a a hundred years ago. What took you so long?’

From yesterday's thread:

"In our experience, Americans are uncouth misfits who should be run out of their own barbaric country. "

"We already run the misfits outta our country...We sent 'em back to England"

I disagree with the author of this article. Free speech did not die in May 2009. It died with the passing of the McCain-Feingold bill a few years ago.

I can’t stand Savage, but to be banned for his views is scary and typical of what to expect from LIBERALS (aka, we love our free speech... not yours).
