Tow things to note in the below release: it doesn't say Lingle actually saw the essence of material being held in the vault, and it does emphasize that the material is not seal by the governor, nor is it being handled any differently than all other such docuemtns in the HI vaults. “There have been numerous requests for Sen. Barack Hussein Obama’s official birth certificate. State law (Hawai‘i Revised Statutes §338-18) prohibits the release of a certified birth certificate to persons who do not have a tangible interest in the vital record.
“Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai‘i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.
“No state official, including Governor Linda Lingle, has ever instructed that this vital record be handled in a manner different from any other vital record in the possession of the State of Hawai‘i.”

Nobody has ever seen it. Not the Governor. Not the Director of Health. Not the State Registrar.

The only thing publicly stated by Hawaii was the one issued by Health Director Chyiome Fukino, that there exists in Hawaii's filing system, a record -- which could either be a computer record or a paper record -- indicating that Hawaii has Obama's original birth certificate.

Whether or not there actually exists a physical, authentic, original birth certificate for Obama has never been validated. There could easily be an empty envelope or file folder sitting in a vault in the DOH's basement, with the label reading ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE FOR [BARACK/BARRY] [SOETORO/OBAMA]

There is no concrete evidence whatsoever the Gov saw the BC! She SAID she did. The damn BC is most likely not is not or ever has been in HI.

Actually she's required by law not to reveal the contents of any "health record" which includes birth records, to anyone except a very short list of people with a "personal interest" in the information. That doesn't include you or I of course. There is an exception to produce the records upon order of court of competent jurisdiction. Thus all the efforts, successful so far, to prevent "Discovery" in all of the suits filed challenging the BHO's eligibility.

But of course, he's admitted that he's not eligible, when he wrote (or Bill Ayers ghost wrote) that his father was a British National at the time of his birth, and that he was a dual citizen at birth.
