Well, Renault today is a different company. They bought Nissan and turned it around.

My only GM car is a 1994 Saturn SL2. The car is still running just fine. My 1998 Saturn SW2 was t-boned by a 17 year old drunk Mexican in Chula Vista while visiting for my 30th high school reunion in 1973. Too bad. It was almost flawless with 35,000 miles and 5 payments left. Our vehicles of choice are Ford 4x4 SUVs now. They serve our needs in an area with snowy winters. My son is getting good use from the SL2 now. I don't see anymore Saturn brand vehicles in my future.

Wasn’t the purpose of starting Saturn to circumvent the union labor issue?
GM turned out to use it mainly for another of their infamous multi-badging hoaxes.
Saab has never really made a profit, but it has always built interesting vehicles.
In both cases, almost any management in the world is better than GM’s management.

Saturns are great little cars. I hope the French don’t ruin them.
Who is going to get Jeep?
