Dennis Prager show. He's presently discussing the current lack of discipline in the school system and how it hurts the students.
Now he has an American Muslim woman guest on his show.
Sending students to schools hurt them.
I’ve never seen a Prager thread here before...I’m a regular listener.
I don’t buy his guest’s attempt to suggest that there might be “honor killings” of females among Arab Christians. I have never heard of this and if it were happening we know the liberal driveby media would make it front page news. I think she’s playing the “moral equivalence” game.
There are inconsistencies in her statements, and I agree the culture response wasn't completely satisfying in this way: if a too-strong paternalism predated the arrival of Islam in that area, why did that not change thru the centuries?
Christianity and of course, Judaism, sprang from the same region, and changed in certain key respects...not just treatment of women, but in eliminating slavery for example.Why did not Islam produce similar changes of thought and culture???
