Grade Your Government @ GradeGov.com
http://www.gradegov.com/ ^

They work for YOU, remind them!

TV, radio, Internet, and newspapers are filled with politicians talking at you. It’s time that they started listening to you. At GradeGov.com, you can send a grade to individual Members of Congress — an A, B, C, D, or F — and write a letter explaining your grade. GradeGov keeps the message simple. Everyone understands an “A” and an “F.”

GradeGov.com lets you speak directly to your elected officials. There are no professional pollsters or news anchors filtering what you say. You speak on your terms, from your kitchen table or desk at work. You don’t have to wait to be called on at a choreographed town hall meeting.

So be heard. After all, your elected officials work for you. Remind them.

Elizabeth Letchworth, (founder) worked in the United States Senate for twenty-six years, including six years as an elected officer. “During my twenty-six years working for the U.S. Senate, I saw how hard it was for the American people’s voice to break through the D.C. bubble. Americans need a simple and clear way to tell Congress what they think. That’s where I came up with the idea for GradeGov.com. There is no mistaking an A or an F.”

How It Works

You do the talking. We stay out of your way.

We don’t change or try to influence your grades or comments — we just post them.

1. Set up an account
2. Grade an individual Member of Congress as often as once a day.
3. Write to an individual Member of Congress as often as once a day.
4. The more information you give us in your profile, the more often your grade will be part of the overall averages. Everyone’s grade is included in the overall average.
» If you tell us your political party, your grade will also be averaged in the Party.
» If you give us your zip code and congressional district, we also average your grade into our state and district breakdowns.
It’s up to you to decide how often to be heard.
5. The more information you supply in your profile, the more effective your letter tends to be with Members of Congress, as well. Your personal information is kept in the strictest confidence and never published, sold, or distributed to advertisers, politicians, or anyone else.

Rules

1. Only one account per person and only one account per email address.
2. No profanity.
3. No threatening or offensive language.
4. With GradeGov your personal information is kept in the strictest confidence and never published, sold, or distributed to advertisers, politicians, or anyone else.
5. Anyone who violates the above rules, or our other terms and conditions, can be suspended or barred from the website.

GRADE THE SOBS IN NOVEMBER, 2010. THAT'S THE ONLY GRADE THEY UNDERSTAND!
Photobucket

RE-ELECT NOBODY!

BUT, HOUSTON, WE STILL HAVE A PROBLEM!

What is to be done about the HILL RATS? These are the allegedly “professional” staffers who are so named because after each election, they scurry like rats to a new member – ANY MEMBER (his politics seldom matter) – just to remain close to the power. Most are flaming liberals and, after the “experienced” staffer shows the new guy where the john is, because they have been up there for decades, far too many of these new members rely on them for how to vote and get along in the thoroughly corrupt system of “you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours” that has caused the mess in which we now find ourselves.

IT GETS WORSE!

Let’s say the new guy needs an “expert” on tax policy. Well, son-of-a-gun, the professional staffer JUST HAPPENS to have a college chum who works at the IRS! Need an “expert” on education policy. Darned if that secretary he just hired doesn’t just have an old teacher friend who works over at the Department of Education!

NOW YOU KNOW WHY THE MORE THINGS CHANGE, THE MORE THEY STAY THE SAME – ESPECIALLY IN MALFUNCTION JUNCTION. Looks like we will also need TENURE LIMITS with stiff penalties for breaking the rules!

You can only issue one grade per day. That needs to be changed. Maybe be allowed to “change” one grade per day but we should be able to issue grades to all of them when first signing up.

This type of site is probably set up by obambots to get us to spend our time bitching in e-mails to congress critters that will never see them, instead of taking to the streets with tar and feathers. They have highly paid cyphers that spend their day deleting incoming messages that are not from lobbyists.

Heck, McAmnesty himself stated a few years ago that he never paid any attention to e-mail, and he has a valid excuse (shoulder injuries). There is no excuse for the rest of them to ignore us unless they simply do not feel the need to mingle with the proletariat. In that case, tar and feathers time is fast approaching.

This is crazy—they “need more grades,” but they won’t accept more than one grade a day!

I didn’t have any problem registering, but you can only rate one/day and I wasted mine giving Specter the F he deserves. When I pull up the list to see where he ranks, all I get is “?”

I sent a comment in saying just that, so I hope they change it.

I don’t think so. I saw the founder on Fox News this morning and although she is a longtime Republican, she set up this site specifically so that WE THE PEOPLE can be heard because she realized and recognizes the complete disconnect between us and government and that they are not hearing the will of the people.

She seemed sincere on being for WE THE PEOPLE.

Wow, it says my Rep has been in office for 2,009 years. I knew he broke his term limit pledge, but wow...

You are right...Think it was just busy so I went back and was able to vote on one of my so called reps...and listed a view which I wanted printed. I think it is a brand new site that has been bombarded with seekers who just want a voice. Love it!
