The names of some of the people barred from entering the UK for fostering extremism or hatred have been published for the first time.
Islamic extremists, white supremacists and a US radio host (Michael Savage)are among the 16 of 22 excluded in the five months to March to have been named by the Home Office.

While, sadly, we are probably not far behind, this is a good reminder why we fought a revolution and incorporated the Bill of Rights.
Savage might bounce off the walls, but he sure has moments of crystal clarity coupled with historical perspective that you simply can’t find elsewhere.
Now that is funny........
Since he is a Jew can we then say that Britain is also anti Semitic and anti Israel? That country I am afraid, is a prelude to what the USA is destined to become unless we straighten out our politics and our politicians. Are we far from the "yellow stars' and the "christian crosses" being mandated to identify the subversives among us? Napolitano is heading that way given a little latitude.
Savage’s problem is that he drinks too much, leading to the heavy comments.
But guess what, in a free society, Savage should be tolerated.
Heck, either he’s just a heavy drinker or some leftie who fakes being a conservative to discredit all conservatives.
Like Phelps is in the business of being a fake Baptist to discredit real ones.
The UK is a few letters short of its full name when consideres all the nonsense emanating from there nowadays.
I’m disappointed I didn’t make the list.
The US Department of Homeland Security has declared that I am a terrorist threat.
Why do I bother?
Papers, please..........
:)
Give it a rest. Savage ‘drinks too much’. As though you have any idea at all. The facts are, soft wusses like you were just the type who were all over Savage 5 years ago, about how he was ‘over the top’ and that the stuff he was talking about was absurd and ‘could never happen here’. And here we are today, about right where he predicted.
He doesn’t discredit conservatives, he wakes them up, sometimes by going overboard to get their attention. Clearly, he needs to do a little more to wake you up.
Subtext: "Since Jew-hating and Christian-bashing are not against our values, we will continue to allow advocates of violent Jihad to build new mosques in our cities."
I still think he’s a depressed man who drinks too much.
He does get so depressed he doesn’t want to talk about politics at some points in his shows.
Funny that I would be donning my “Liberalism is a Mental Disorder” shirt today.
Anyone who monitors all this stuff as closely as a talk radio guy, or even all of us on Free Republic, would have a tendency to get depressed. That is, of course, if this country really matters to you. I can sense a tangible amount of concern listening to Rush Limbaugh these days, a level of concern I never heard from him before. Dennis Prager, same thing. Mark Levin, really concerned. This country really matters to Savage, right and wrong matter to Savage, and he’s sick of how corrupted this country has become. I recognize he goes over the top many times to make his point, but I find myself doing the same thing on this site, and when talking to people I know, trying to get their attention. Sometimes you have to get aggressive, or push people’s buttons, to make people listen. I admire Savage for being willing to do that, knowing the heat he will most certainly take in response.
Liberalism: Agree with us, or else.
I have decided to ban myself from traveling to the UK
Actually, the UK is currently on my list of countries I have banned as travel destinations for myself and those I love.
As is Mexico, the Middle East except Israel, Venezuela and a few others that are must remain unnamed at this time.
Me too. ‘Been once. Got my Shakespeare stuff.
Savage is slightly whacked, but when his topic’s The Bible he’s really good.
Calm down, I doubt the Govt knows Savage is Jewish. I know of him, and I didnt.
Well, that is a shame.
As Britain is still a great country, where you would be met with friendliness and hospitality.
I hope you both reconsider.
