When I was a deputy sheriff I honestly made every attempt to NOT destroy or damage my uniform. Came out of my pay etc .......even when duty related. Thus when and if , all the tact ,diplomacy, peaceful submission skills and chemicals etc didn’t bare fruit I got my moneys worth. Made sure they remembered being ugly when they got a clue later.
One reason I left the job. Never “lost” a fight. but couldn’t tell by looks at times. Just wasn’t worth fighting anymore. I had issues with such trash and was going to get in trouble. Walked away.....
