Washington D.C. May 4th 2009 - Rep. Frank Wolf, R-VA took to the House floor this afternoon and blasted the Obama Administration and the plan to release the first wave of GITMO terrorists onto American city streets....at taxpayer expense.
The Uyghurs, pronounced Wheegerz, are the Muslim group of terrorists the Chinese were so concerned over during the recent Olympics. They were picked up on the battlefield in 2001 and have been active jihad warriors even prior to 2001.
There are almost two dozen of the Uyghurs, members of the East Turkistan Islamic Movement and have all received Taliban and a-Queda training.

I’m just curious as to how you came to the conclusion that the title of the blog article is exaggerated in comparison to Obama’s plan to release these terrorists onto American soil? I think it fits quite well myself...
Is it that you think this group of Muslim Terrorists are NOT a threat (that they were only a threat to China?), or that you think Obama ISN’T planning on releasing them here?

Maybe there’s a Supreme Court nominee amongst those Gitmo inmates. Seriously, I can’t believe any rational, intelligent government would do this. The Obama Administration appears to be more concerned about Islamic terrorists than it is about the American people.

The Uyghurs are not some obscure little tribe of Muslim whackos. Basically the entire Western quarter of China along the old Silk Road is Uyghur territory.
Can we get terrorist registries, so that we know where to find ‘em...er...I mean, whether or not they live in our neighborhoods? Heck, if I’m caught peeing in public, I’d be placed on a sex offender registry for life. We should offer the same exposure for these terrorists.

Everything about NObama makes me want to vomit..from his endless press coverage; to his idiotic speeches that wouldn’t even BE speeches without a teleprompter; to his insane policies; to the fact that he, along with his disgusting waste of space of a wife, HATE the country that has put them where they are today. I would love to see the Gitmo detainees make their way to the White House..let’s see how NObama handles THAT situation. Not such a great idea, eh Barry?
I hope that, if this story is true, the prisoners will hit every Democrat’s and every person’s home who voted for Obama. I can’t believe the chutzpah of this man!!!
I can’t imagine that a majority of Americans are ok with Zero letting Muslim terrorists out to roam our streets and getting tax payer funded money to do it with.

Actually, the plan is to put them up at hotels.
Last week in Germany,Holder responded to a female reporter who asked why the Obama Administration just didn’t put
“the detainees “ up at a hotel.
“Hotels might be a possibility, it depends on where the hotel is,” Holder responded.
The media present laughed-Holder did not and appeared dead serious.
The AP reported that Holder was joking.
