Presidents are only impeached when the other party controls Congress.

Even if the Republicans were to regain control of Congress in the 2010 election (a long shot), they would never have the nerve to go after Obama.

I doubt Obama really intends to hand Bush or Cheney over to a foreign government for trial--they probably intend to stop short of that, just do enough to keep their base and the media happy.

I am firmly convinced that the federal government is a lost cause, and that the people are going to turn towards their state governments in a last ditch effort to preserve their freedoms.

I pray that it is not too late when their WILL is sufficiently present.

Being ahead of the curve is a frustrating thing, so we must be vigilant in the mean time to make the case for independence from an ever abusive and unlawfully powerful centralized government.

This is no doubt a painful time for me because I have always loved my country. But the legitimate ends of government are not being met, and the legal mechanisms in place to preserve our freedoms are hanging my a mere thread. A shift in balance of power back to the states in essential if this nation is to survive.
