See the Trailor Here the end of it is awesome ...
Well, I haven’t seen them ones. I can tell sometimes from a title I won’t like it. Like Dumb and Dumber. I knew there wasn’t much point in me watching that.
Well, be thankful that it's just a foreigner playing a President in a movie, and that the real President isn't foreign-born.
Oh, wait. Never mind. :)
So would I, but he’s still not a good actor. He has great moves but his acting ... well, he could use some lessons.
The fact that it was in there in the first place hints at the type of script we’re dealing with. I’ll probably pass anyway.
We'd all have been better off if the movie "Dungeons and Dragons" had never been made.
can't freakin wait. although i hope destro gets a mask eventually. and i never thought he would be a squirrly white guy.
he was definitely black in the cartoon.
I agree that this trailer looks terrific! I can’t wait to see it.
When Transformers came out, I was dubious. All I could envision was the geeky cartoon of my childhood. Now it’s one of my fav movies.
Thanks to “Joe” I had to watch it again last night! :-)
I wouldn’t spend five cents on this UN-glorifying, terrorist-ignoring movie.
The special effects in the trailer looked terrible; Speed Racer-level quality.
A few years ago I ran to my daughter’s room to her panicked screams of “Mom! MOM!!”
When I got in there she was in a rage. My 7 year old son’s GI Joes had raided her Barbie Dream house.
It was a masterpiece. He’d used his father’s 550 cord to make rappelling lines which had two Joes suspended. Barbies were dead everywhere. (Compliments of his sister’s lipstick.) One was being tortured for information in the kitchen. The details that boy thought of were amazing.
Turned out this was revenge for his sister stealing his Joes to marry her Barbies. :-)
Then they would have to rename it to “G.I Joe Biden, Tales from the Tail”
Looks just like the biker guy in the village people.. But Dennis Quad is in it so I will see it..He is a great actor..
Not bad, just saying.
As long as you’re not looking for realism, special effects can really spice up your ...um... entertainment.
Then you missed out on one of the funniest (although crude) bathroom scenes (not visually graphic, but acoustically so to speak) E..V..E..R..!!
My DH doesn’t normally like that sort of thing, but to this day he will still crack up laughing hysterically over that Jeff Daniels scene!! :-)
(I actually laugh more at HIM laughing at the movie, LOL)
there is a use beyond entertainment?!!!!! (/Humor)
The linked Trailer says words to the effect of “the best from all over the world.”
I don’t care who you are, that there’s FUNNY! :-)
LOL!! I can just picture the ‘carnage’!!
...and the nickname “Plugs” takes on a whole new meaning, LOL! ;-)
Yeah, after my daughter cooled down, even she admitted that it was beautifully done. She ended up leaving it like that for at least a month. Over time the two of them came up with more details and, by the time it was finally done, no detail was left untended. Chalk outlines, a Joe bending over a body, a room completely destroyed by a grenade, broken lamps, a second Joe called in to assist in the interrogation, detailed blood splatter, a teeny, tiny pillow cut open with stuffing spilled out, etc.
It was morbid, but so well-done that I couldn’t bring myself to stop it. It also stopped them from arguing for quite awhile, once she joined him in the game. :-)
What no place for Karl Rove?
I’m sad to say that they’ve replaced the “action” with video game style special effects. This movie doesn’t look too bad but it could have been soo much better. I don’t know how much CGI they would have to use to try and not let Sarah’s natural beauty and intelligence steal the show! LOL. Plus it would be funny seing the stunt people try and show Sarah to hold a gun.
