They still don’t list the several CONFIRMED cases in Maine for some reason.

Well ya’ll - I have every symptom EXCEPT the fever - I’ve been sick all weekend. I’m waiting for the doctor’s office to open to get an appt. I don’t think it’s flu - maybe just a bad cold and bronchitis - feels like hell though.

Note a Grand Total of (drum roll, please) One! death.

Regular flu kills, on average 100 people EVERY DAY.

Everybody notice how New Mexico has only ONE case. That seems suspicious....

Ping to updated CDC chart showing the number of cases per State.

For comparison I have included the CDC chart which I posted yesterday.

Also here's a link to the thread I posted yesterday:

CA confirms CSULB flu case is H1N1 (3 cases confirmed in L.A.)

Well I hope it doesn’t last long. Wouldn’t even go to the doc except it’s in my lungs - I’ve coughed so much I feel like I’ve pulled every muscle in and around my chest.

226 cases; one death: that’s a 0.4% fatality rate. About par for the course for a flu, no? (old folks, babies and people with compromised immune systems are almost always the ones to die. The bacon flu killed one baby, right? My God, that’s gotta be tragic for the family, but hardly worth all the hullabaloo, right?)

My son brought home a notice from school Friday - I was impressed - it stated that while they are being vigilant, they are not in a state of PANIC and they urge all parents and students to use their COMMON SENSE and regular precautions such as washing hands, etc. and that they would notify us immediately if there are any cases, but that for now, they are not closing the school.

I hadn’t heard about any other “underlying conditions”, but, if it killed him, that’s pretty much a given.
