I didn’t know that. I thought it was just for Catholics.

Again, Negative sir.

Too many eyes on this event. A protest of this sort will see the the 'light of day'.

Already signed the petition a while ago.

I'd love to see the students get up and walk out when Obama's introduced. I would. In fact, I wish I was one of them, so I could do it.

Still praying for a change of heart but won't count on it.

Let’s give credit for men of the Catholic faith who have spoken up. They have done their part. I wonder if all 432 bishops in the country were to speak up, would it mean anything to Father Jenkins and his superior. Or are they so lost that even the Holy Father couldn’t turn their heads?

Here are Randy Terry's latest action recommendations, which make a lot of sense to me. I'm just sending this out to a small list of you: I may ping this out to my "big ping list" Monday: I really think it's important.

Randall Terry:
Bishop D'Arcy called on for fresh action.

On Wednesday, April 29, twelve of us gathered in front of the Chancellory of Bishop D'Arcy in Fort Wayne Indiana. We thanked him for what he has done by boycotting the commencement, and respectfully asked him to take his boycott of Notre Dame's commencement to its logical conclusion.

We received enormous local press coverage. I repeat: the press coverage was extensive, and more importantly, accurate.

I delivered a hand written letter to him from me, asking him for three specific things. I ask you to read one of the stories; if you agree with my three requests, I ask you to call the Bishop, and ask him for these three items.

If you agree with these three goals - hold a reparation mass; hold an alternate commencement for any seniors who want to join Bp. D'Arcy in this boycott; threaten to remove Notre Dame's name from the Official Registry of Catholic Universities - then I beg you to call Bp. D'Arcy right now. His number in Fort Wayne is: (260) 422-4611; in South Bend, (574) 234-0687

Call Bp. D'Arcy, and thank him for boycotting the Obama commencement, and ask him to: 1) Hold a reparations Mass on May 17; 2) hold an alternate commencement on May 17; and 3) to tell Notre Dame that if they do not keep Obama from speaking, he will remove their standing as a Catholic University, until they remove Fr. Jenkins for this horrific rebellion to the Church, and betrayal of the babies the Church is commanded to defend. Again, his number in Fort Wayne is: (260) 422-4611; in South Bend, (574) 234-0687

Please send this email to your friends; ask them to join this holy quest. And ask them to pray for us. Like Gideon's army we are "weary, and yet pursuing."

For Jesus, Mary, and Joseph.

Randall Terry

P.S. Please go to www.StopObamaNotreDame.com to see more of the news coverage of our requests of Bp. D'Arcy. If you agree, call the Bishop RIGHT NOW; thank him for what he has done, and ask him for the three-fold blessing: 1) Hold a reparations Mass on May 17; 2) hold an alternate commencement on May 17; 3) to tell Notre Dame that if they allow Obama to speak, he will remove their standing as a Catholic University. Again, Bp. D'Arcy's number in Fort Wayne is: (260) 422-4611; in South Bend, (574) 234-0687. Please call right now, and ask your friends to call.

Yes! But now we have a law based upon a lie... why can’t this thing be ruled null & void? (ok,ok - I realize they don’t care about the truth.)

Notre dame has to organize the alternate Commencement. some larger schools have multiple ceremonies.. Best thing have People opt out and Hold Mass For Pro Life Graduates celebrate their sacrifice and Character a Pass in the Graduation test... then hopefully Archbishop Burke pulls some strings and offers the Holy Cross fathers the Option of reassigning Jenkins or get decertified right after george town ...

There's a lot of symbology that can be played on here.

Notre Dame in name alone has relevance. In Christianity she's, as we all know, the Mother of Jesus.

Additionally, Islam venerates Miriam the mother of Jesus (no relation to Miriam, sister of Moses). But on the other hand we're quite aware of their subjugation of women. By their abuses, these men commit an implicit affront in denying the sanctity of the Holy Mary.

The issue of abortion in this context could be viewed as an affront to the Holy Mary as abortion would've prevented Jesus' birth. Kinda parallels the infanticide of Herod the Great.

Seems to me that the recent activities at ND are also a similar affront, and on public display for all to see and for some to be pleased with.
