Liberals are mentally ill. Unfortunately, they have bullied, lied and brow beaten the medical community to reclassify nearly all forms of mental illness and deviant behavior as “alternative lifestyles”. They have also somehow managed to convince sufficient numbers of their fellow mentally ill ilk that people that embrace what used to be though of as family values are suspect. So yes, the simple explanation is that they have turned everything upside down so they can attempt to feel good about their illness.
