All of April and the start of May 2009 find us still being bombarded by the media hyping up the first 100 days of President Obama with no sign of it dying down. Following the introduction to the monthly thread I will post some photos to remind us of the first few days of the first May of the George W Bush Presidency - those were the days.
The quote I have chosen for this month are remarks made during Commander-In-Chief Trophy Event at the South Portico on May 4, 2001.
Tomorrow I will post some more photos from May 2001 I am sure we will see the contrast what we see and hear from the first few months of the Bush Presidency to the Obama Presidency will make us realise even more so how much more respect and love GWB had for the office and the country and more importantly the individual citizens rather than just special interest groups as the current President does not even bother to try to hide.
Enjoy your visit to Sanity Island
Hi, there! I was hoping you’d respond! Good to “see” you again!
Take care and keep up the good work of promoting OUR president!
Of course, we are both W fans, I think! *grin*
I intend to keep fighting for OUR President as long as the Lord gives me breath. Honor is worth fighting for. Integrity is worth fighting for. Courage is worth fighting for.
OUR President has all those qualities, and I don't want anyone to forget it!
(Glad to see you still feel the same way. :)
My opinion of OUR president won’t change. We have gone from a government of integrity, honesty, patriotism and America-first to one of lying, scheaming, greedy, un-American, anti-troops anti-business low-lifes!
I pray we survive to change it back to something we recognize.
I'm just praying that it will before my children and future grandchildren are gone.
I've never felt this way before - never in my entire life. We have gone from having a President who loves and protects America as very few have ever done, to one who hates it and wants to destroy it.
I fear we will not recover.
Your ‘labor of love’ should be seen by ALL those who love and respect OUR First Couple!
That one was just lovely. :)
Pray and pray hard!
That’s the only thing we can do at this point.
That and support men and women who can take the country
back from the “enemy within”.
The “she made the cake” site was a fun read. I would have just shot myself and got it over with...
Hmmmmmmmmmm . . . I don’t remember whether or not I linked the flight suit thread . . . I think you should link it on snugs’ June 1 monthly thread — that way it will get maximum exposure!:)
. . . you and me both!!
The whole world should see those photos................again and again and again..... ;)

CEMENTING THE BUSH LEGACY
Jennifer Rubin - 05.16.2009 - 5:24 PM
George W. Bush must be smiling. Hes not talking in public about the Obama administration, but he cant be displeased: his harshest critic is adopting most of his national security policies, albeit grudgingly and with a whole lot of spin. But not even the White House spinners can conceal what has happened.

CNN, OF ALL POLLSTERS, HAS RECORDED AN INCREASE IN PRESIDENT BUSH’S FAVORABILITY/JA RATING
5/14-17/09 41 favorable 57 unfavorable 2 unsure
2/18-19/09 33 favorable 63 unfavorable 4 unsure
NOTE: If CNN indicates that President Bush possesses a 41% favorability rating than we can all assume he possesses a rating well above 50%! [And yes, this is the same poll that noted an increase in VP Cheney’s rating from 29% to 37%!]

The longer we have to put up with the moronic, immature antics
in the current administration, the more favorable GW’s approval
rating will get. This bunch is just SCARY!
Thanks for the great links, Deb. Good to see you!
Great to ‘see’ you too!!
Did you read the first link provided in my post at #172? . . . fun ‘insights’ into our President’s new home!
Yes, I love his home. I actually found it myself on Google Earth Street View one evening when I had too much time on my hands! LOL! I figured that before long, Street View wouldn’t be allowed on that cul-de-sac!
I just realized that I had been misspelling your ‘name’ on my ping list . . . Please enjoy the links at #172-174!
Absolutely on FNC last night they said even Dick Cheney’s favorability ratings had rose. The truth is getting out
Thank God for Dick Cheney! He is steering the dialog and
showing America just how corrupt the current administration is!
