Under Armour recalls athletic cups (Ouch!)

WASHINGTON – Under Armour Inc. has issued a voluntary recall of more than 200,000 athletic cups as they can break when hit, posing a risk of serious injury to the wearer.

Baltimore-based Under Armour said it has received five reports of cups breaking and one report of injury, which involved cuts and bruising.

.. The products can be returned to Under Armour for a $20 voucher.

The recall involves all athletic cups that have the Under Armour logo, including adult, teen and youth sizes.
