MIAMI - Police are fishing for information on the thieves who stole more than $1 million worth of lobster from a seafood company, authorities said today.

The thieves looted about 71,000 pounds of individually wrapped lobster tails Saturday night from the freezers of Carlos Seafood, at 4041 NW 28th St., police said.

They then tried to sell some lobster tails to a Hialeah seafood restaurant whose owner realized there were stolen and turned two women sellers away. Video surveillance cameras captured the event.

Si, mi ne ricordo, he was just a prawn of a sinister gang who set out a line of traps for him. Rumor has it he was potted for most of the production.

Now here's a recipe.
Get the biggest damn lobster you can find. 10-12 pounds ... or bigger.
Prepare a light marinara sauce to your taste, 'bout 3 gallons should do it.
Then, instead of droppin' the lobstah in boiling water, drop'im in the bubbling sauce

Go way for a hour or so, and look for a humongous, deep platter, long enough to accomodate the lobster and about 4 pounds of linguine. Try Auntie Jo's Shoppe, on the pier behind the Northeast Yacht Club.

Go cook the pasta al dente, add the cheese in huge quantities directly to the pasta, then ladle on the sauce and put that lobstah right there in the middle on top.

Should serve 6-7 people ... think food fight ... no individual plates ... don't worry bout your shirt neither ... Beer ... or a heavy dry white wine?

Mussels? Sure, but I hate'em in tomato sauce make it a beurre blanc, more white wine

don't forget the bread and something blueberry for dessert. Knock yourself out and don't let the baby fall in the pasta. (Unless he was just changed)
