HUNTINGTON BEACH Bolstered by the growing number of swine flu cases, anti-illegal immigration groups in Southern California are urging members to barrage their congress members with letters and phone calls pressuring them to close the U.S.-Mexico border.
Barbara Coe, founder of the Huntington Beach-based California Coalition for Immigration Reform, has continuously blasted emails to about 20,000 group members since news of the influenza hit the media.

WHO recommending border stay open? We have our own so-called leaders saying that. The WHO and our own government want us all sick.

This infection, and so many others, have been brought to America
by the following, who posed in glee at their leaving the border open.

Once Obama gets impeached, or is voted out (whichever comes first), let's have a show trial regarding his failure to close the borders. /sarc>
"Open borders, Obama's orders!"
"Obama shills, swine flu kills!"
etc. etc.
We can appoint Ann Coulter to be the judge...

Close the Mexican American border?
Then how will all those unwashed uneducated unemployed diseased Mexicans get here?
Besides, everyone knows it is the Dutch causing the worlds problems.

Refusing to close the border with Mexico couldn’t be more illogical if this strain is truly as bad as officials claim. Their action prove much more likely this is a manufactured crisis by socialists to further their agenda to sue ti as an excuse to nationalize healthcare or prevent tea parties from occurring by banning large public gatherings under the pretense of preventing the virus from spreading.

Wonder, in light of the outbreak, if we'll see the mass protests on May 1?

I think it’s time for Texas to close our border to the South, regardless of what Washington chooses to do.

Ever since election day, one "crisis" after another, more loss of Freedom everyday.........I'm starting to feel as if I'm being funneled into a cattle shoot.
So much of this mess is contrived , manipulating.

Too late for what? Too late to stop the deadly form of the virus from coming across? It’s kind of like saying why jail child molesters...since some will not be caught.

The border must be sealed now. Continuing infection accelerates the disease rate. Money is more important than people to both governments. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

WHO recommends that the border stay open.
Also that people should fly in plans as much as possible, and inhale deeply. And gather in crowds, in confined spaces. And share kleenexes.
You racist.
/sarcasm
To: MeneMeneTekelUpharsin
Agreed. And the thing is, thousands of Americans have ALREADY DIED at the hands of people on our soil who have no business nor legal right to be there. So this is nothing really new. Just additional Americans now may be killed by a disease from Latin America, whereas up until now they have been killed by knives, guns and autos used by drunks (borrachos). Open borders. Same effect. The American elites in their gated communities couldnt give a crap.

Closing our common border with our neighbor to the South? What an extreme, last ditch measure. Are you sure you want to do that?

In addition to the obvious transmission of the 3-way-combo-flu, close it for the hordes of tracker trailer loads of narcotics entering the U.S. from Mexico.
Close the entire Mexican border to prevent illegal aliens and at times, similar-in-appearance Arab terrorists, who mingle among them from slithering across our border to plot to acts of horrific jihadist-terrorism.
Close it tight to stop narco-killers from entering America to settle their drug-gang warfare.
Dump NAFTA down Obama's drain.
