(CNN) - Meghan McCain- who has been known for her outspoken criticisms of the Republican Party, "did not soften her voice Tuesday calling Sen. Arlen Specters party switch a "selfish choice."
Recognizing that it had been a hard day for the Republican Party, McCain offered some encouraging words " I am still a believer in this party! I have faith we can bring this back, who is with me?!?" she tweeted.
Sen. Arlen Specter might have left the GOP, but Meghan McCain isn't going anywhere. "In my Republican Party there is room for everyone! There is no need for an admissions test to be a member, lets be more inclusive!" she wrote.

Only if her musings continue to espouse Rino-ese.
Bet she tweets like a foghorn.
She should know, she's an expert. She happens to be right for once, but that is beside the point, LOL.
Now that we’ve hear from Princess on Sen. Sphincter, my life can go on...
I got a call from McCain people the other day and I told them that if he doesn’t shut his daughter up, I will work tirelessly to make sure he’s defeated...I’m going to do it anyway, but I wanted to make the point. Why are they still talking to her? She is SO being used.
Yes, Meg is a silly little goose...but on this one, I happen to agree with her. Arlen Specter is a selfish douche.
CNN must take advantage of the times when her mouth is not full of food to report her moronic thoughts.
Want her to go away? Quit being viral and hanging on every word she says.
QUIT posting anything about her here.
No Megan, we’re not with you.
If only she’d left with Specter she could be a princess at the Puffington Host.
>> We would be a lot better off with an unapologetic conservative in Michael Steeles place.
Absolutely. Until the republicans embrace conservativism and SELL it rather than apologizing for it, there will be no real second party. Voters, given a choice between “liberal” (D) and “damn near liberal” (R) will continue to pick (D).
I would have liked to see Duncan Hunter in Steele’s place. Hunter certainly wouldn’t have run out to apologize for Rush Limbaugh. He would have been leading the standing ovation.
>> “McCain has an conservative rating of 82% from the ACU” <<
That was BS last year and it is BS today!

As part of HUMAN EVENTS ongoing campaign against Republicans in name only (RINOs) we have compiled a list of the Top 10 Most Liberal Republican Senators based on the American Conservative Union Ratings for 2008 (110th Congress, second session.
The ratings all compare rather unfavorably with that of Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC), chairman of the Repubican Steering Committee. Sen. DeMints score was a perfect 100)
On the conservative scale, the ten lowest-scoring senators are:
1. Olympia Snowe, Maine: (ACU Rating: 12)
(Only one point higher than liberal Democrat Hillary Clinton who the ACU scored an 11, and an astonishing 4 points lower than Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reids 16.)
2. Susan Collins, Maine: 20
(Collins received the same score as liberal Claire McCaskill, and 4 points lower than Russ Feingolds 24)
3. Arlen Specter, PA: 42
(Only 10 points higher than Mary Landrieus 32)
4. George Voinovich, OH: 52
5. Lisa Murkowski, AL: 58
6. Mel Martinez, FL: 60
7. John McCain, AZ: 63
8. Richard Lugar, Ind: 63
9. Robert Bennett, UT: 64
10. Thad Cochran, Miss: 68
WHO?!?!?!
Tell ya what, Meg. I'll pay some attention to you when you do your first Jenny Craig commercial, but until then? Just take daddy and go away, Megan, you opportunistic "little" snot.
Uh, AK?
IMHO, the RNC chair needs to be:
a) Conservative to the core
b) A master communicator; understands the benefits of conservativism, and skilled at communicating and selling those benefits
c) An excellent organizer and executive. The RNC chair can’t do it alone; he needs a deep, well-trained organization (and $$$)
Mr. Hunter unquestionably has a), and is pretty good at b) as well.
c), I’m not so sure about.
To tell the truth, since your original post I’ve been racking my feeble brain to try to identify a good RNC chair in the (R) party today. I’m drawing a blank.
McCain has a LIFETIME ACU rating of 82%. That’s not “BS” at all. It’s on the ACU’s website right here. Read it for yourself: http://www.acuratings.org/2008all.htm#AZ
McCain’s 2008 rating is 63%. His lifetime rating is 82%. Some years he votes conservative more than 82%, some years he votes conservative less than 82%. It averages out to 82%
Specter has a 2008 rating of 42% from the ACU and a lifetime score of 44%.
Seems to me the only “BS” is the claim that they vote alike “95% of the time”. Anyone want to try to prove that?
The last thing we need is a country in which people are free to speak their minds.
The Paris Hilton of politics... we care what she thinks — why?????????????
She has got to be smoking the weed.
