“We are clearly as close as we’ve ever been, but it’s still a long journey,” said Sen. Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.), a member of the Senate Finance Committee, which is taking the lead on health legislation. “This is one of the steepest ascents in politics. We have momentum. We have the right gear, shall we say. But reaching the peak is a hard thing.”

This is a historic political bubble, just as historical financial bubbles, fated to collapse faster than it arose with all attendant dangers.

The Democratically controlled Congress today easily approved a $3.4 trillion spending plan, setting the stage for...the sovereign destruction of the U.S.A. by printing press.

3.2 trillion.

If you were to spend 1 million dollars A DAY going back in time you would run out of money at apx. 6090 — BC! The Paleolithic period.

It was inevitable. The good news: the rats own it.... all of it — lock, stock and barrel. The budget, national security — it’s all on obama. The first 100 days is now a done deal. The MSM can cover for him only so much. We’ll sweep in 2010.

“The budget resolution won overwhelming support from Democrats but not a single vote from Republican lawmakers, passing the House 233 to 193 and the Senate 53 to 43.”

WOOHOO!! This is a victory of sorts for our side. I think perhaps the ‘Tea Parties’ have brought our pubbies to their senses.

Not even Collins, Snowe and the predictable rinos voted for this Bluebeard Budget of Obama’s....LOL!!

[Only 17 Democrats in the House and three in the Senate voted against it, as did Sen. Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania, who announced Tuesday that he would leave the Republican Party.]

Not a single Republican voted for this budget, but it had bipartisan opposition.

Even Specter voted nay. Which other Democrats voted against it? Bayh and who else?

Money, get away.
Get a good job with good pay and youre okay.
Money, it’s a gas.
Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash.
New car, caviar, four star daydream,
Think I’ll buy me a football team

A great day for the King and his jesters, A very sad day for the United States of America. Obama will not be happy until the government owns everything and every single citizen is dependent on government for all aspects of life. The truly sad thing about this is that 43% of the citizens go willingly into the pit of despair.
