He gave the same excuse as DHS. "There's no point in closing the border since it will not contain the epidemic".

What this really means is...There's already pig flu people here so we don't care if more pig flu people cross the unguarded border along with the criminals, drug smugglers, and terrorist. We still need illegals to bailout crooked companies via cheap labor.
