Raplhie,...how you doing?
They don’t actually believe he’s open to discuaaion.
“Who are they? Are they legitimately able to claim the mantle of leadership of the national tea party movement?”
NEGATIVE. This gentleman tried to claim the mantle of “leader” in a movement that only maintains credibility when there IS NO leader.
He speaks for only a very small fraction of TP organizers, almost all of whom, like myself, call no one individual “leader” and only loosely coordinate activities through national “clearing-house” type websites.
Nothing’s legit unless I type it from my keyboard!/sarc
Bullcrap,, pure Bullcrap. Thats code for centralize all healthcare money into the government, so they can dole it out more efficiently. That aint a tea party concept, and who are these “leaders”?
That SOB is trying to fold in the tea party movement into his marxist revolution. These “leaders” dont speak for me.
Nah this is just a publicity stunt. I doubt any of the organizers would ever agree with Obama on anything. I just think they could have picked a better name.
Sure. I’m with you there. I’ll have to ask a friend of mine to find out more for me. She has worked with him and knows him pretty well.
P.S.
If anyone knows these so called leaders, e-mail them and tell them they are on their own. They are speaking for themselves and no one else.
Tell us about the TEA party you organized, please. How many attended? How did you finance it? How did you promote it? What groups did you work with?
I am a local organizer. If the ‘movement’ is made up only individuals who have nothing better to do than play ‘Keyboard Warrior’ we get NOTHING done.
HA! Excellent.
Then they are just like you.
And you should be in touch with these people instead of bitchin'
Did anyone ask you why you had a right to represent yourself as the local leader? No. Don't gripe about people who are making it happen.
P.S. again.
I find this alarming!
True. Or they could be a bunch of polictically ambitious hacks leeching off the success of a grassroots movement. The principled approach would be for them to create new entity. I would then have a choice of following their ideas or rejecting them. It is unacceptable for self-appointed "Leaders" to presume they speak for all the individuals that came out on April 15.
The tea parties were effective because they terrified the clowns in the DC clown car. They only did that because there was no leadership that could be isolated and marginalized.
Why change something that works.
I’m doing great, Doc! How are you? I miss you guys and your wit!
“This gentleman tried to claim the mantle of leader in a movement that only maintains credibility when there IS NO leader.”
You are correct!
I guarantee they won't change Obama’s mind.
Hold a debate on the issues instead. Let him try to convince the public. Right now the press isn't doing enough to ask questions.
