What an idiot Chuck the Schmuck is! Yeah, it was the FAA. Who knows if these guys even had a flight plan? But assuming they did I wonder what Schumer thinks the FAA procedure might be for reporting a flight plan to the public.

Is the FAA allowed to report AF-1’s flight plans?

Chuckie will say whatever it takes to deflect blame and make it through the day. I expect his next Sunday Follies will call for the FAA to publish all flight plans before any aircraft is allowed to leave the ground.

Neil Cavuto reported that Obama knew and approved this.
Seems our TOTUS just might have some apologizing to do to New Yorkers who did NOT know and panicked.

Some guy in a Piper Cherokee wanders too close to Washington DC and it's a federal crime. Buzz NY with a 747 chased by fighter jets and it's no big deal. The Imperial Presidency of the One Who Can Do No Wrong continues.

Like the FAA took AF-1 out for a joy ride, eh Chucky?
Correct answer: we'll get to the bottom of it and heads will roll!!!

Whether or not the FAA was responsible, I completely agree with Schumer’s and Bloomberg’s sentiment. It’s ridiculous that the government didn’t disclose this in advance.

Whether or not the FAA was responsible, I completely agree with Schumers and Bloombergs sentiment. The FAA has as much responsibility for this as the Park Service does. I don't know what Bloomberg said (except that it probably was self-serving) but Chuck the Schmuck was trying to deflect blame from akaObama and instead blame it on the faceless bureaucracy. It's a shame that anyone associated with FreeRepublic thinks this was a good thing fro Chuck the Schmuck to do.

A man who wont disclose his birth certificate doesnt worry about disclosing sending his plane to buzz New York.
After all, HE WON.

The FAA knew about it and refused to disclose it (except to a few parties with the condition that they keep it secret). Where they required by the DoD to keep it secret?

Both Schumer and Bloomer are idiots. Schmucky blames the FAA to deflect criticism from the messiah and, Bloomer calls the incident insenstive to New Yorkers. That's the best he can muster, as a Republican.

Beats me, but they decided to for some reason. I can’t imagine they needed to for security reasons, given that the whole thing was just a photo op. Probably just government bureaucrats being retarded.

The FAA were told to keep it classified by the white house, specifically the Military Office, as it turns out.
We all know Hussein is behind this terrorist act.
To: Hell to pay
If the “White House” told the FAA to keep this stupid flight classified, we need to punish that building. I feel that a sever spanking from roof to foundation be given that stupid building. Ooops, I forget that buildings have no brains, can't talk, etc. IT MUST BE SOMEONE THAT IS IN CHARGE THAT IS TO BLAME! Never mind, I also forgot that there is no one in charge.
Filing a flight plan such as this or getting permission from the FAA is a routine procedure. Why the reason for a classified operation? If the numbnuts had announced it, I would have been there just to see the great bird fly by. The F-16s would be a bonus!
