As Michelle Obama nears her first 100 days as First Lady, a new book celebrates her fabulous fashion choices. “It’s her journey to the White House through the filter of her style,” says former fashion mag editor-in-chief Mandi Norwood, author of “Michelle Style: Celebrating the First Lady of Fashion” (William Morrow, $19.99) out May 5, which chronicles Mrs. O’s signature looks — from the belted purple sheath dress she wore on the night her husband got the nomination, to the $148 White House/Black Market black-and-white print dress she bought off the rack.

The "ensembles" she wears are just goofy looking, not flattering. It reminds me of how teenagers dress....weird, goofy stuff, not flattering at all, trying so hard to be different, REBELLIOUS.(SP?)

You can always tell a true gardener by what they are wearing, and their gloves and boots—she sure is not wearing gardening clothing & neither her gloves nor boots have been used before—she’s just faking it for cameras!
Her ‘signature looks’? I’ve only seen her in two or three outfits that could be said to be attractive on her. Most have been fashion disasters, like that belt that she wears too high up on her waist.
No, the sweater she wore in Europe had three different shades of blue, NONE of which matched the skirt with which she wore it, or the shoes, which were green.
That purple and black striped shirt with the green jacket over it is just so WRONG!!
