GENEVA – Countries planned quarantines, tightened rules on pork imports and tested airline passengers for fevers as global health officials tried Sunday to come up with uniform ways to battle a deadly strain of swine flu. Nations from New Zealand to France reported new suspected cases.

World Health Organization Director-General Margaret Chan held teleconferences with staff and flu experts around the world but stopped short of recommending specific measures to stop the disease, urging governments to step up their surveillance of suspicious outbreaks.

Not according to the CDC:

Can people catch swine flu from eating pork?

No. Swine influenza viruses are not transmitted by food. You can not get swine influenza from eating pork or pork products. Eating properly handled and cooked pork and pork products is safe. Cooking pork to an internal temperature of 160°F kills the swine flu virus as it does other bacteria and viruses.

The poorest nations on Earth are the ones most vulnerable to this disease especially where pandemics are concerned. The other countries most vulnerable to a pandemic of this disease are countries that are ruled by despots, tyrants and dictators.

That’s “pork” as a noun, not a verb.

More reason why we should close the Southern border immediately and not let in any more illegal immigrants, period!

If intelligent beings are continually able to decide the fate
of less intelligent beings, why aren’t the pigs deciding
to keep Congress out of the country?

Our government is down playing this because they don’t want armed patriots closing the Mexican border.

Mexico is handing out masks. I guess they can drop them in a basket at the border check points as they come here.

Do you suppose they are referring to import of LIVE pigs? I don’t know if we do or not. But it doesn’t make sense based on the CDC to ban import of pork products?

I don't know. Is it common for countries to import live pigs?

This is also in the article:

Others were increasing their screening of pigs and pork imports from the Americas or banning them outright despite health officials' reassurances that it was safe to eat thoroughly cooked pork.

Well, WHY isn’t Congress urging the closing of the Border between Mexico and The USofA until the Swine Flu pandemic is over?

What better reason does this traitorous Congressional Assembly need than the protection of our children and families from Swine Flu?

Or don’t they even care about US Citizens?

“Or don’t they even care about US Citizens?”

I think we all know the answer to that by now. We’re just another commodity in the global economy.

The Mexican Swine Flu reveals the sad truth about the toxic hell hole located south of our border. They knew months ago about this Mexican Flu Epidemic and told nobody.

Why on earth do we allow any of these pigs anywhere near our nation?
