Jim DeMint was the only United States Senator to earn a perfect 100% score on a pro-growth economic scorecard, according to data released yesterday by the Club for Growth, a leading fiscal conservative advocacy group.
DeMint led the U.S. Senate with his perfect voting record, while South Carolinas other Senator, Lindsey Graham, was among the most liberal, anti-growth Republicans - scoring a paltry 52%.
Meanwhile, in the U.S. House, Rep. Gresham Barretts recent bailout vote may have cost him his perfect record.
Barrett typically resides at or near the top of the Clubs rankings, but this year he scored a 91% - which puts him at 37th among the 435 members of the U.S. House.
GOP Representatives Joe Wilson (87%) and Bob Inglis (83%) ranked 52nd and 66th, respectively, while Rep. Henry Brown had the lowest score amoung South Carolinas Republican House members.
Brown voted for pro-growth policies just 63% of the time, one of the worst Republican records in Congress.
According to the Clubs website, the organization conducted a comprehensive examination of each lawmakers record on pro-growth policies and computed an Economic Growth Score on a scale of 0 to 100. A score of 100 indicates the highest support for pro-growth policies.

Well, I had no problem finding my two Senators -Lautenberg and Menendez- scrolled directly to the bottom of the list and found them right where I thought they would be. What a state.

I can’t believe you included a DeMint ping and a Lindsey ping in the same post, LOL.
I'm shocked!
Joe Wilson seems pretty good. Previously I had hoped he would run for Lindsey’s Senate seat.
Are you sure you are on the right forum?
“Ive moved to Georgia in the last week...”
Great! One less vote for a RINO in the state of South Carolina.
Yeah, sometimes I just loose my mind :)
At least I put in a Yea for Demint and a Boo for Pandsey.

I went to catch his act at the Walhalla Court House. He spoke for about 10 minutes before dashing off to Greenville.
He spoke about his campaign efforts for McCain, said that Obonga's policies were wrong (but that Obama was a good man), threw out a few chunks of red meat (2A and same sex marriage) and then was gone.
I was hoping for a Q&A session but, oh well.
This is a pic that I took (from my iPhone):
