SNIPPET: "Seems the FBI was concerned about threats - which included a pledge to turn a tax protest into a blood bath - allegedly made by a Twitter user identified as CitizenQuasar. The FBI arrested Daniel Knight Hayden, 52.
Haydens penultimate tweet at 12:49 AM on April 15 returned to the subject of his martyrdom. Locked AND loaded for the Oklahoma State Capitol. Lets see what happens.
The FBI arrested (.pdf) him at his home later that day, according to the U.S. Attorneys Office in Oklahoma City, which otherwise declined to comment on the case."

Darned if that doesn't sound like the second leftist that's been arrested for unsavory activity.
I wonder if DHS is counting...
Heads up Napolitano. It's not the right you need to be concerned about. We believe in law and order.
Well wasn’t that convenient for him to have advised the authorities of his alleged plan.
We really do not want gunfights at TEA parties, please.
You would NOT believe how many folks were carrying, LEGALLY at the Tea Party in St.Paul on the capitol grounds....
Gonna “Steal the thunder”.
Sounds like he planned on killing protesters.
Smiling at you...
Yes, I would believe it.
The left wing blogs are already labeling him a right winger but talk of avenging the deaths of the Murrow building and “Remember this name, Earl Shaffer” are clues pointing at the left.
Earl Shaffer was an environmentalist, naturalist and poet. Also the first man to hike the entire length of the Appalachian Trail.
Thank you cripplecreek for the information.
I got that from the link you posted. (and a quick google)
The Earl Shaffer Hayden mentioned was the man he wrongly believed to be a tea party organizer and apparently wanted to kill him. This earl Shaffer says Hayden contacted him and knew things he shouldn’t have known. (Shaffer wasn’t a tea party organizer)
Hayden appears to be one of those mixtures of far out ideologies. On one hand he seems to support nazism but accused Obama of using mind control.
I was gonna say, he better be sure this is the last thing he wants to do on this earth before meeting his Maker. I suspect the “bloodbath” would end very quickly.
Oh yeah... as I was "mingling" in the Tea party in my town... every police officer I saw was very relaxed and smiling... seems like the local police knows better than the FBI.
What gets me is the the FBI threatened to arrest the intended named victim if he attended the tea party.
(story linked to in post #13)
I think I can understand that. If you attend a large gathering, knowing that someone has threatened to shoot you there, you're taking a chance that you and perhaps a number of others will be killed.
I won't quibble with your right to play John Wayne and look a threat in the eye, but doing it while standing in a crowd isn't a great idea.
I went to Beverly Hills one afternoon to protest Bill Clinton. While out there I had a large $3 bill I had made with Clinton’s mug on it. One of the local law enforcement officers came over and talked to me. He appreciated me taking the time to do something he couldn’t participate in that afternoon.
He had been in the military, and didn’t care for Clinton one bit. When I realized later in the day that Clinton was going to be limoed into the mansion from an entrance to the side, and he wouldn’t get to see me, I decided to pack up and leave.
This officer saw me getting ready to leave, and he asked me to stay. He said, “You waited all this time and he’ll be here in about ten minutes.” His heart was really with me, and I stayed.
The officers at other events expressed support for our cause. When our 300 people left, we picked up every spec of paper on the sight, even if we didn’t carted it in.
The officers really appreciated and respected that. We never had a problem with them at all over the month we returned to the site each weekend.
We’re not the ones calling the officers pigs. They know it. And Napolitano should too, but she probably is a pig.
It sounds like they already had the perp in custody when they questioned Shaffer which is why I don’t get them telling him not to go.
Its possible that they were worried that others would be encouraged by the threats.
