Members of the U.S. House Judiciary Committee today rejected an opportunity to protect Christian pastors who preach the biblical condemnation of homosexuality and approved on a 15-12 vote a "hate crimes" bill that supporters admit could be used to bring charges against religious leaders.

Like I said previously today, the news just gets better and better today. We'll be seeing more and more true men of God in prison soon ~ and I know some TV evangelists who won't be among them!

Why aren’t the pastors protected from hate crimes??

The American people overwhelmingly oppose the gay agenda, yet we have the left in office putting it in place. Note that Corzine planned to do this already but stopped because he is behind in the polls for reelection.

So where are the republicans to point out the far left agenda is being imposed on us?

The Democrat might get in real trouble with this. Their Muslim masters can’t like this.

I wish I had decided to get into politics because I’d be out there in front of the cameras everyday!! We are the ones who have voted these weak-willed Pubs into office. We all need to make better choices in 2010.

The Muslims will support (either actively or passively) anyone who will work to build their power... and deal with their infidel partners when they are strong enough.

Anything that forces homosexuality on Moslems is just going to get a whole lot of enforcers killed.

They won't stand for it.

No matter how many laws such as this are enacted, and no matter how many times situations such as that involving Miss California happen, there will still be people here who:

A) Deny there's a homosexual agenda.

B) Insist that all homosexuals want is to be left alone.

C) Insist that all these laws are actually enhancing freedom, not restricting it.

D) Insist that the real threat to freedom is Christianity and social conservatism.

So much for their separation of church and state, aye? Aren't they targeting something the Constitution protects?

A lot of Catholics and black churches voted democrat this time around. I doubt they'll do it again if the Bible is outlawed by these bigots.

What a lot of Americans don't understand yet, is that butt sex trumps the 1st Amendment, at least according to its practitioners.

How many of us are truly ready to go to jail to fight this insane evil?

More like thought crimes. In other countries these types of laws are used to silence christians on moral issues. It even happened in Brazil of all places.

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

What part of this do these idiots not understand? I know that they are too stupid to read the legislation being voted on; but to knowingly pass an unconstitutional act is TREASON. I REFUSE to be silenced; I REFUSE to obey. I REFUSE to fall in line.

I understand there's another tea party scheduled for July 4th. After legalization like this, the streets are going to be packed.
