What’s so special about 17? Why not 16, 14, 12?

In about a decade expect a dramatic rise in breast cancer and other cancers that mainly effect woman. I don’t believe there has been any study about long term plan B use nd what it might do if used over and over?Will we see young males trying to use on their PG girlfriend and what it might do to a 2-4 month gestation pregnant girl?
Here in Texas our Republican governor (who I support, of course, on independence), 2 years ago tried to give every 12 year old some kind of injection, so they could have without consequences. Public opinion stopped him, but barely.
It’s definitely a dangerous world to try to bring up kids in...and amongst the most dangerous predators is our government.

I have heard that it can cause hemoraging. People are going to die from this but we are not going to hear about it for a few years.
This is one of the most perverse things that I have heard. Think about the adolescent mentality. This just plays into the immaturity of adolescents. This seems like a dream come true to a girl who is having sex with her boyfriend - just take a pill and all your problems are gone. Nothing to worry about. Next time do the same thing again - no problem. Imagine the talk among the boys. This is just another way for guys to pressure girls into having sex.
Who will be held accountable when a 17 year old takes Plan B and suffers from a severe side effect and perhaps dies? Severe infection, hemorrhages, etc. The all encompassing Government is taking more of the parenting responsibility but will not be held responsible for health disasters.
