Nancy Pelosi insisted today that she did not know waterboarding was happening. Via Politico:
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is pushing back on GOP charges that she knew about waterboarding for years and did nothing.
Pelosi says she was briefed by Bush administration officials on the legal justification for using waterboarding — but that they never followed through on promises to inform her when they actually began using "enhanced" interrogation techniques
"In that or any other briefing…we were not, and I repeat, we're not told that waterboarding or any of these other enhanced interrogation techniques were used. What they did tell us is that they had some legislative counsel ... opinions that they could be used," she told reporters today.

Since when has Queen Bee Nanacy listened to ANYTHING? She is as insensitive as a stone when it comes to measuring anything much outside her next election. Darned tooting she heard it, it just did not make much impression, as those were different times, and even the liberals of Marin County were a little agitated that al-Qaeda was about to make a second strike, this time maybe in California somewhere.
She knows she was fully informed or at least she was informed as Speaker of the House.

The Kenyan's popularity is waning fast. The only group he can get a rise from is the Looney Left, who want the Bush admin from GW down to the shoeshine boy drawn and quartered in the public square. It'll be a short-term gain and end up hurting him (and the dems) horribly down the road.
