refusing to affirm a client’s homosexual behavior prior to a counseling session??
Not sure what that means.

She didn't say "it's wonderful that you're gay!".
Basically, she was dismissed for her religious views.

She didn't say "it's wonderful that you're gay!". "Wonderful"? The term is "fabulous!" Back to reprogramming for you.

If she were a devout Muslim instead of a devout Christian, do you think they would have dismissed her for her religious views?

Michael Medved spent an hour today on this outrage.
It means that she followed university rules. She read the patient’s file and determined that she could not advise him because of his homosexuality and therefore referred him to another counselor.
The Left exists to stamp out those with a Christian conscience.

Political correctness will be the end of us all. I just completed our company’s Corporate Ethics Training and passed by the skin of my teeth.
Instead of choosing the answers that I would normally choose, I selected the answers that I thought they wanted me to choose, AND STILL GOT IT WRONG! Their answers to ethics questions more often than not hinged not on evaluations of right or wrong, but on the perception of impropriety.
In other words, they were more concerned with what they “felt” others might “feel” about what they were doing rather than on the actions themselves.
I must be a dinosaur!

Is it OK to say that Thomas Bulfinch's
The Age of Fable is "fabulous"?
Slowly freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of thought are disappearing.

Then she did not try to shove her beliefs down the gay’s throat and stepped back gracefully. The left are totally unleashed!

Homo-nazi’s.
They’re infesting out colleges and universities.
And - of course - our Miss USA pageants.

Oh, really? Just what do you call this dismissal?

Ward then allegedly was informed that the only way to stay in her program would be to undergo a remediation process to change her beliefs as they relate to counseling about homosexual relationships, the Defense Fund Center said. When she refused, she was given a formal review hearing, after which she was dismissed from the program. The dismissal was upheld March 26 by the dean of EMU's College of Education, the press release said.Reason #1 not to return to my alma mater for the Masters. Bet they REALLY rake the education people over the coals.

Now, now, you know it's really the Southern Baptists and the devout Catholics that are trying to set up a police state.
