A new Public Policy Polling survey has some interesting findings concerning Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R): While 76% of Republican voters have a favorable opinion of her, 21% say they would rather vote for President Obama if she became the Republican party presidential nominee in 2012.
In a head-to-head match up, Obama would beat Palin, 53% to 41%.
The survey also shows Obama beating Mike Huckabee, 49% to 42%, Newt Gingrich, 52% to 39%, and Mitt Romney, 50% to 39%.
Love your tag line! :)
Where are “A 3rd Party would never work” now people ... It’s the Globetrotters verses the Generals folks ... wake up
“Love your tag line! :)”
LOL, thanks!
The Democrat party of yesteryear is what the Republican party has become, while the DemocRAT party of today is pure Marxism.
One more thing, maybe these liberals in the Republican Party will pick the 2012 nominee just like they picked McCain, everything is fixed, and you can’t change it.
LOL, we need a rewrite of the song by Heart.
This poll makes about as much sense as one stating:
49 percent of heterosexuals would prefer to have sex with men.
I know intelligent people who lead conservative lifestyles and like Obama. They are also Catholic and think it’s an honor for him to go to Notre Dame.
LLS
No. You don't.
I hate to be negative but - crap like this makes me lose all hope for a come-back.
What a Bag of Hell !
Good point....
First, these polls are massively (and comically) premature. 3 1/2 yrs ahead of the election is a ridiculous waste of money on something that can change hundreds during the period.
Second, these early polls are meant to discourage any competition, to intimidate any candidates, from running against, “the One.”
I think this is actually great news for Sarah..check it out..I think some of you are taking this poll the wrong way. Obama has been in office for what, 4 months..and Sarah is only trailing him in the polls by 8 points..Sarah Palin, who hasn’t even announced her candidacy yet, in fact, whenever someone tells her to run in 2012 she politely smiles and pretends she didn’t hear it..who hasn’t been on the national scene in 4 months, is only trailing the President of the United States, by 8 points..now my math skills aren’t the greatest in the world but that spells BIG trouble for Obama. The fact that she only trails him by such a small amount tells a lot..no wonder the libs are scared poopless of her. All she needs is another conservative candidate as her running mate, someone like Sanford or heck, even Michelle Bachmann, and it’s a Palin landslide victory

How does 21% conflate to “Many” (compared to 76%), as in the erroneous title “Many Republicans Would Vote for Obama Over Palin”.?????
I missed that part, I thought it said republicans would vote!!
“even Michelle Bachmann, and its a Palin landslide victory”
Great post! I totally agree! I know this poll is slanted, but even it shows Sarah trailing by 8 points. I think the actual number is a lot higher (in Sarah’s favor).
Most of the people who voted McCain/Palin didn’t vote for McCain; they voted for Sarah (myself included). A lot of my friends like Sarah a lot and I know we can count on their support.
She has popularity among a lot of younger people who aren’t old enough to vote yet. People really like her!
She represents true American values. She is exactly who we need in the White House.
And yes, Michele Bachmann would make a FANTASTIC running mate for Sarah! Those two women would be a marvelous team! They really would!
As you and I have been saying all along, the liberals wouldn’t be attacking Sarah nearly as harshly if they didn’t think she could beat Obama. SHE CAN!!!!! They’ve already figured that out.
Now, we conservatives all need to get behind Sarah and all work together to defeat the Marxists!
I would walk over hot coals to make Sarah president too!
Palin / Bachmann 2012
Give estrogen a chance.
