Fox News's Shepard Smith got into a heated debate over interrogation techniques Wednesday with colleagues Trace Gallagher and Judge Andrew Napolitano that resulted in the feisty host using an expletive I'm sure he wished he hadn't.
Appearing on FNC's webcast "The Strategy Room," Smith took issue with America using any interrogation method that could be deemed as torture regardless of whether or not it gave results and saved lives (video embedded below the fold, strong vulgarity warning):

I strongly suspect if Sheppie were asked immediately after 9/11/01 what he thought of waterboarding Al Qaeda suspects to gather intel he’d have enthusiastically supported it. And even today with his pre-9/11 attitude, if he were honest with himself, he’d heartily support the integgoration of suspects using any means necessary if he thought it’d save the lives of himself or his loved ones. Iow, he’s is a hypocrite, a drama queen, and a dumbass.
Except babies that is. Boy do we love torturing babies before we kill them! Especially our own.
He’s right, we don’t use torture.
Waterboarding, enhanced interrogation, sleep deprivation and psychological pressure are
NOT TORTURE.

shep smith has always been a bit unstable. he got into a fist fight with a chick over a parking space during the big florida recount in 2000.
Shep also crossed the line when he asked a young woman who works with him (producer/camera person??) if she was going to attend the job fair being held for dancers/workers at a strip club. She replied in good humor, ‘ I have a job’....wish she would have said......’no, are you?’
He owes her a public apology.

I don’t care if we torture our enemies to keep my countrymen safe. They are not Americans and have no protection under our constitution. We are not inflicting irreversible physical damage...so...have at it.
