House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.) said ahead of a meeting at the White House Thursday that Obama and Republicans ...
... on Capitol Hill have gotten off on the wrong foot.
"The first 100 days have not been the best days for bipartisanship," Cantor said during an interview on MSNBC's "Morning Joe."
"We've got some very serious issues, and I do think now that we can come together," he said. "We can do better."
Cantor added that he wants to tell the president later today that "we want to work with you."

The GOP is done . As a party they no longer exist . There is now a one party system. The hard left and the liberal wing (pubs) Get used to it .
“Looks like Im voting third party come next election.”
That’s exactly what the Dems want — divide & conquer.
The tragic comedy that is the GOP death march continues to unfold.
“we want to work with you.” Means expensive to the tax-payer.
What does Cantor not understand about the opposition party?
Wow what a fool Cantor is. Obama is a nightmare.
There hasn’t been bipartisanship in this administration for the same reason it wasn’t present in the last administration: the democrats refuse to practice it and trash the republicans using the mass media as their own personal mouth piece. Republicans, to their credit, actually try to practice it for the good of their country. Dems care nothing for the country; they only care about lining their own pockets and grabbing as much power as they can.
“He is a pathetic POS. Where are the conservatives with balls?”
Ironically enough their names are Sarah P. and Michelle B.
C’est vrai: ils n’ont pas des testicules.
Exactly. The only republicans with balls are woman.
There is but one solution in 2010. Leave NOT ONE incumbent in there. There may be a courageous few that are good and will be unduly punished by being voted out, but those that put good guys in there can once again vote in a good guy. WE have to enforce term limits at the ballot box, as it is obvious that absolute power corrupts absolutely, and its only a matter of time before the good turn into the corrupt if not constantly turned over every couple years. Surely even the best rep has a replacement in such a dynamic country. We have to do this locally, and COMPLETELY or else we have already lost. There is not enough people willing to leave the republican party for a 3 rd party to make it work. The compromise for those who will not go third party is to commit to voting out the incumbents we have and putting in new blood. If neither of those things are good enough, then you are part of the problem. Everyone says congress is at 9 % approval, except MY rep. that math just don’t add up.
There has to be something in the water in DC that shrinks the testicles of Republicans, while simultaneously enlarging those of Democrats. For example, just look at McCaskill and Pelosi. Their brand of politics is to reach down their opponent's throat and rip their lungs out.
Even my man Cornyn is turning into a castrati. By the time he wakes up in five years for his re-election, it will be too late. In five years, the federal debt will be over $20 trillion.
The time to stand up for conservative American principles is NOW.
Not again. Call his office folks!

Let them know that you don’t want republicans to be ‘bi-partisan’ with Obama and the dems while they destroy this country. It is past time for them to go on the attack before it is too late.
I’ll never understand why some freepers worship Eric Cantor and want to run him for every major office on the planet.
Looks like they’re running up the white flag. Cowards.
Put him on the RINO get rid of list.
They’ve already conquered. It’s just a matter of consolidation of power now.
Honestly, up until his vote for the Bailout last fall, I would’ve defended him. But he’s lost me for good.
What happens to these guys? Cantor took some solid stands last year and seemed to have some guts. Maybe that was just to make a mark and get attention? It seems that after our Representatives and Senators are in Congress for a while they all have a melt-down. Sure, it would be good to work together, BUT not to blindly accept all the DEMS want to do.
Obama and the Democrats are ram-rodding things through in such a hurry, all geared to putting our nation in a weak position and turning this into a socialist country. No one is stopping them. And they are doing it so fast so as to avoid a lot of buzz on any one issue before they move onto the next contraversial decision. It is a ploy to keep us in a spin, not knowing which item to protest or address first. Quite a plan. And it is working when people like Canter start to fold like this. I am giving up also on the Republicans.
So much for leadership. Cantor ... just another RINO BOHICA pansie.
