Since the Iraqi Military caught him, they’d be wise to keep him.

IIRC, and I see as I read in this article as well he was written off in the past as more of a legend, a myth if you will by authorities. You are very correct.

When we killed al-Zawahiri, Jane Harman called it “great police work” on MTP. I wonder how the Dems will categorize this with 0 as CiC.

I hear it gets pretty wild at the WH on Wednesday, all you can eat, night.
I would be upset if he gets a tuition free college education though.

Reportedly Omar AL Baghdadi is a made up guy with a made up name... I wondered about that name: AL Baghdadi...it sounded to close to the city name Baghdad be real and sort of silly. Baghdadi??? Is that a common last name in Baghdad? Who was/is he really?

No they are saying that they can't confirm that he was arrested, just not sure.
It is difficult to identify Iraqis. They are so inbred that DNA is hard to sort out. Also, people will say anything to get a reward. We have captured and killed him at least four times, so this is hazy info.

The name is made up, the person is real. I think his real name is Hamid Dawood Muhammad Khalil al-Zawi, from Haditha, and was an officer in the Amn al-'Aameh [General Security Directorate] under Saddam.
He calls himself Al Baghdadi as he had moved to Baghdad and supposedly fought there against our original invasion.
