She likes wearing dresses made of lace tablecloths; which I have to say is an improvement of Shelly O's wearing the draperies:

The hat is a bit much, though.

Lovely..... and give Mabelle a chance - she will need to show her style more as time goes along... maybe she can sport a big ole hat like that too!

Gotta love the long nails too..... so "urban"

Yes, that hat is a bit much, but it works. It has a certain 'je ne sais quoi' to it.

She's a big lady and magnifies it, doesn't try to hide it like 'chelle does. She doesn't appear to have a posture problem either. She certainly enjoys the moments she's participating in. She has a pleasant face.

I like the costumes and that hair on her. One must have chutzpah to wear those. Although they're gaudy, they're tastefully done. The dress lines work on her. At least she's "different" and does not try to copy anyone. She's original.

Looking at her, we know exactly who she is, whereas with 'chelle we have no clue. She tries to be something she's not.

One of the ladies in our church is from Africa. She and her husband wear some truly amazing dressy clothes from their native land. Easter was one of those special occasions, as was Christmas and the baptism of their son. The hats are really beautiful, although I remember worrying about the godmother’s hat catching fire during the baby’s baptism, as she stood very close to some of the candles!
