Russia has stationed its forces just 25 miles (40 kilometers) from the Georgian capital, in violation of the EU-brokered cease-fire that ended last year's brief war. And in recent weeks, it has sent even more troops and armored vehicles to within striking distance of the city ahead of street protests against Georgia's president.

I’m not afraid. For once we have a leader who knows how to talk to the bad guys and let them know we understand that the US had been a very bad boy and that we stand ready to make mend our past atrocious behavior.

Why wouldn’t they? I’m trying to be as objective and fair to Obama as possible, but I honestly do not believe that he has the guts to partake in necessary brinkmanship. Even worse, our enemies do not believe he does.

I think the Russians figure they have a two year window. If we can blow out the appeasers in 2010 it may make the boy president stand up until we can replace him. Remember, Carter started to stiffen after the Russians went into Afghanistan. But this guy is weaker and a true America hater. No telling what he will do after 2010.
Well, you know, the Georgian President stated on Glenn Beck’s TV show that Joe Biden is his friend and he was for Obama. So, we’ll see what the ramifications are of that preference.
When Russia attacks Gerogia again Obama will just say I wish you all would just get along....
