NY-20: Tedisco Behind, Goes To Court
AOL News ^ | 4/21/09

Murphy is ahead by 273 votes, most ballots to be counted have been. Tedisco's only shot is now to challenge some votes. The onus is on him. Those looking to use NY-20 as a narrative about Obama, the GOP and what's next for American politics are plain out of luck. But overall this will be demoralizing for the GOP. In 2006 and 2008, it seems that Democrats have ultimately won a disproportionate share of very close races. Here and in Minnesota, If the Republican doesn't win convincingly on election day, they don't win period. Absentee ballots should no longer be presumed to be GOP friendly....

Vote-stealing is the new Democrat strategy for winning close elections. And it works because the Repubs are cowards and allow it to happen.

The democrat strategy of the one-two punch is pretty clear. Buy enough votes on election day to throw the race into a recount, then bring out the sacks of “newly discovered” paper ballots.

The Peoples’ Banana Republic of the United States.

Ultimately if you don’t have it locked down election night, they will steal it.

Republican candidates MUST use every legal tool available until every legitimate vote has been counted.

Bush and the GOP blew it by not demanding full investigation and prosecution of all allegations of voter fraud in the past eight years.

Doesn’t matter, do you think Steny Hoyer or nasty Nancy Piglosi are going to seat Tedisco, HA! The system is rigged that way.

"Bush and the GOP blew it by not demanding full investigation and prosecution of all allegations of voter fraud in the past eight years."

Learn your History. Bush did indeed prosecute and investigate vote fraud in all 50 states, and Bush did just fine in all of his elections.

The GOP lost without Bush, not because of him.

I’m sorry ‘it didn’t seem to make the news.Probation and similar wrist-slapping for slashing tires of voter drive vans isn’t what I consider vigorous prosecution.

Theny GOP had a GREAT candidate in John Faso, the GOP candidate who ran against Elliot Spitzer, and was outspent almost 10:1, because he was “too conservative” and screwed up by telling the electorate the truth, and not a continued welfare faire tale. But, the NYS GOP and Dems are in a race to the left, and ultimately, we all lose. Tedisco. Murphy; not a dime’s worth of difference. Tedisco took weeks just deciding whether he was for or against the porkulus bill. How’s that for taking a stand? Now the national GOP leaders (many, at least) are embracing immigration reform and hational health care. God help us.

The big brouhaha over firing the Federal Attorneys was largely because they refused to prosecute vote fraud cases.
