It is with the profoundest grief that I inform Free Republic that one of the most inspirational and influential FReepers has passed away. Alia was my wife for 28 years and through thick and thin, she was my bulwark. She was also a devoted member here and I believe an important contributor. She passed from this vale of tears this past night at 1 am. Please find a moment in your day today to remember her in prayer.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself: that where I am, there ye may be also.

We lose a lot of things when a loved one passes unexpectedly, a chance to say good-bye, a last hug, a laugh or a cry... but we don’t lose the memories, the smiles and joys of many years together.

I am so sorry only to be learning of Alia’s passing today. She was a lovely person and an ardent FReeper. My deepest condolences to you and your circle, BelegStrongbow.
